So glad I found an arepas place here in detroit. Food was great, location and atmosphere was unassuming. The arepas and the pastelitos were delicious. That shredded beef is tasty and I really liked rhe cheese they used on both dishes. I found it a tad pricey, but will be back to try the plates and the fresh juices.
Place has been redesigned since the last time I was there. Food was exceptionally delicious. I really enjoyed their green juice. Service was horrible. As the only non-hispanic in the restaurant, I was the last one to receive service.

Dios mio!! The food is SO GOOD!!!! Small place with only a handful of tables. But it's clear that it's a labor of love. Every last bite was absolutely fantastic. My husband is a Puerto Rican islander and the food was very similar to traditional cuisine from PR. It was a little on the pricey side. But to be fair, we ate like pigs. ? The staff spoke mostly Spanish, but also spoke to me in English when I had a hard time understanding some of the questions being asked to...
