A very vibrant,friendly ambience with eye-candy Central American decor accentuating the experience,while one delightfully devours the authentic Mexican cuisine. A well-stocked bar will provide one with a wide selection of alcoholic refreshments to wash it all down while attaining a"laid back"demeanor. Great food. Greater time!!
Today I visited the bakery and also took a picture of one of my favorite restaurants in mexicantown ( el Zocalo ) across the street and when I came home to post a review for it I come to find out they are temporary closed ? I truly hope they open back up soon so everyone can enjoy the amazing authentic cuisine I experienced last time going there!! ❤️
Not wanting to wait 45 minutes at the two restaurants across the street, we ventured into El Zocalo. At first we thought they weren't open for business because their front door looked dirty and unused. When we got closer, we noticed it was "locked" with zip ties. (They REALLY need to do something decorative to this door and put up signage to guests telling them to enter from the side of the building.)
