My friend took me to evening bar for the first time last night and it was a beautiful bar. Modern art deco decor and wonderful cocktails. Shiva was amazing. I had to decide between two cocktails and she described them both in detail that helped me make my decision. I decided on one and it was perfectly up my alley and just as she described. I love evening bar, it’s a true gem! The bar staff is always so personable and the amazing host always ensures we’re accommodated, even when I forget to reserve ahead. Living downtown, I’ve been coming since this place opened, and bring all my friends from near and far because the vibe never disappoints.
Menu changes, and the cocktails are literally the best in the city, even when they freestyle a mix for me. For bites, I love the fries and lobster rolls.

Terrible first experience,
We had a group of seven which the host accommodated us and was super nice.
The waitress we had was a women who proceeded to pour us all water, she then came back 5 mins later with menus, another 5 mins and she took our order and wrote it down on a note pad. We all waited 10 mins and she came back and asked everyone again what they ordered, asked if we got water….then waited 30 minutes for drinks.
