Only request - PLEASE STOP SERVING HOT FOOD IN STYROFOAM.

Always fresh, fast and made to order.
(even my door dash orders are correct)

My faves are the corn beef hash or the greek chicken salad. I love that this place uses real lettuces/spinach and not just crappy ice berg.

Definitely recommend giving them a try if you haven't yet.

This is my second visit there. My daughter got the tuna sandwich with rye bread. They burnt the toast and gave her white bread. They turned the burnt toast upside down, and you couldn't see it when served. I got the chili. Not good at all. First, it didn't say it was spicy/hot. I dont like spicy food. The chili was subpar at best. I've had a lot better. I had to ask for crackers, which it should have been given automatically. I asked for more napkins... still waiting.
The waitress was rude, short. Never asked how the food was. Asked a question before ordering, and she rudely answered it.
This place gets a lot of business on Sundays after church. So, I know other people have encountered her behavior.
When we were ready to leave (which you could tell), she sat kitty corner from us, counting a jar full of money, and kept looking in our direction. Never attempting to give us our check. We were putting our jackets on, never once attempted, to give us our check. Mind you, she kept looking at us and was a foot or two away from us.
We went up to the counter to get our own check and paid.
She an older women with dark hair.

NEVER GOING BACK. UNPROFESSIONAL.

First time here. We got seated right away! The guy gave us a choice which i liked and he was very friendly. Our order was taken promptly after deciding what we were going to eat. I chose the all meat skillet, which I'm glad I did. It was very tasteful. I loved that I could taste all the parts due to it not being overseasoned. My friend got the cornbeef skillet and thought the same. It seems like a pretty popular place

Have been to this place multiple times for breakfast and the food, specifically the sausage and berry French toast, is awesome!

My husband and I drove about 25 minutes to get to this place this past Saturday - I checked their hours on google, they were open until 4pm and it was only 2:30 when we left, so we figured we had plenty of time. When we got there, staff was sweeping and so we asked, "are you closed?" They obviously angrily said, "go ahead, sit at a booth". My husband said, "are you sure?" And the waitress SHRUGGED! Definitely not convincing that you want our business. I'm never one to show up somewhere within 30 minutes of closing so we went somewhere else. If you don't want to be in that predicament, change your hours.

This place is in the middle of all of the meat cutters and packers in Detroit’s iconic Eastern Market. Why is the pastrami so mid? No flavor. I was seriously surprised because I can get a so much better sandwich at so many places within walking distance. It was also seriously small for the price. At $13 for a sandwich I expect it to be stacked, especially around here. Service was ok. Waitress was nice. Not an expensive place but kinda pricey. You’re not going to get out of there for less than $20 with a drink and tip. More if you have a side. Everything is ala carte. Should have got breakfast. They looked really good. Would not come back for a sandwich.

This place, usually, usually has great food and service. Not this morning. Crepe was half done. Dirty fork. Wrong ingredient in my omlette. And they weren't busy. Are there new owners? Because I didn't get that warm and fuzzy holiday vibe we usually see this time of year. Hard to believe you can't get a glass of milk here for a child.

Super fast and convenient food. Prices are really good. Got a crepe, super good careful if you don’t like a ton of Nutella. Not super filling for me so you might want a side! Got a feeling all the food is worth getting

Used to be one of my favorite places to get breakfast stop there yesterday Tuesday November 7th had to the worst experience I ever had at a restaurant true story can not make this up so I ordered breakfast, pancake, breakfast pancake cooked with extra butter. Well sausage links well done Eggs, scrambled with hashbrowns they brought me out Burnt eggs, burnt hashbrowns, but I didn’t complain about the hashbrowns But these eggs, I should’ve took a picture OK, tell the waiter about the eggs she replaced them with cheese eggs Never asked for cheese eggs but OK I don’t eat cheese eggs sent them back no worries just take the eggs off Continue eating my food Drink some water it’s a fly in my water. Oh my God now it’s not possible to even finish my food Say something to the waiter say something to the They act like this was normal. She tried for the eggs, but I never ate. We never got worst experience ever Never again horrible

I’ve been going to Franks for years. My uncle Keith showed me his favorite breakfast spot. I go every Sunday. My last Sunday was a disaster. I was charged twice for food and when they tried to explain it made no since. For two corned beef skillets two OJs and two bowls of grits it was $61. I added it up and it came to $42. I asked why the extra $20 the young girl said it’s the fee for using a card. She said it charges 4% now me being a math guy told her that’s still incorrect is your using that as an excuse. I informed Frank of the discrepancy and he referred me back to the lady who couldn’t articulate the extra charge. While the $20 doesn’t hurt me at all I’m disappointed with the service and lack of someone there who knows how to use a register. Use cash if you go or you might get ripped off sorry to say. When I informed Frank I won’t be returning he said that’s on you. Thanks Frank. Portions have gotten smaller as well fyi.

Love the fresh ingredients from Eastern Market. Only waited 10 minutes on a Saturday at noon in the summer. Food came fast and service was very friendly!

Great place and tasty breakfast. Definitely more of diner food, but a little more upscale. Really appreciate a full menu for breakfast and lunch. Everything was delicious and I would definitely visit again!
