Went on a Monday around noon with my toddler son. Was greeted by the very friendly woman who was doing the hostessing and waiting on half the tables. They were steady but not busy.
Our waitress, a younger woman, wasn't very friendly and didn't give great service. She never asked if we'd like anything to drink other than the water the first woman gave us. And we never got a refill of that (single) water. She didn't ask how the food was after dropping it off, and just generally seemed to have written us off as a waste of time since we weren't ordering a ton. It seemed like she was at least marginally friendlier to the four-top across from us.
The BLT I ordered was excellent, perfectly toasted bread, the bacon was crispy, the tomatoes and lettuce were fresh, and the whole thing was well-balanced. The kid's portion of chicken tenders and fries was generous and above average. The fries came unseasoned, I appreciated being able to self-salt. I didn't realize there wasn't any ketchup on the table until our waitress walked away and would have appreciated some.
The food was great, the prices reasonable, and we'll probably go back, but we'll hope for the other waitress who was a real joy to be around (she even hooked us up with some jello on the way out.)

Service is great here, food for the most part is good, a little bit of a wait time but the owners are top notch and provide excellent customer service, no matter how busy it is.
Some of the waitresses here can be a bit snobby, but people come to a restaurant to eat, who cares if the waitress is snobby- just leave her less of a tip if that happens to be an experience you encounter. Good job guys.
I took my son here and we had a great breakfast. And the waitress made my son and I have such a great day, she was very uplifting. The food was also very delicious. It was so delicious in fact that we ordered some breakfast food to go! The Sawmill gravy aka (white gravy) and biscuits were awesom too. And my son is a very picky eatter. And he really enjoyed their pancakes and syrup

Used to always get the grilled cheese pita therefore I have noticed a change in the quality? New ownership maybe? Looking forward to them bringing their quality back up!

Hamburgers are like those that seem to be left over from supermarkets, late-night supermarkets. They are wrapped in plastic bags, with about four or five in each package, and they are like sticks. When you squeeze them, they can become as thin as a piece of paper. The minced meat inside feels very stale, like it's zombie meat that's been frozen in the cold storage for three or four months, or four or five months. And the salad looks stale too, as if it's a bit spoiled and sour. After eating it, I feel a little uncomfortable in my stomach and am a bit worried that I won't be able to have a bowel movement tonight.

I ordered the Reuben special, and everything was delicious. The server seemed a bit new or distracted, but since it was the Christmas season, we were treated to a choice of free rice pudding or jello. We’ll definitely be back! 😊

The food is decent but overpriced for the portions and quality you get. My dad asked for a lettuce wrapped burger and he wasn't even given enough lettuce to wrap it. Also the prices online don't match what you pay. I thought the food was decent but it just cannot justify that price. I will sadly not be returning.

I've been twice, first time was Take out order, the other Dine in and, I have a disability and, large scooter. They found me a table to accommodated my large scooter. The coffee I raved and, praise on their coffee the entire time I was there. Great place, the 2 visits were on Saturday's after shopping at Eastern Market.

Good ole fashion diner. Fantastic food and people. Reminds me of how eastern market used to be and sometimes still is.

Not the best breakfast I've had. I give stars for the servers. But, both my son and I had eggs Benedict. And both of us crunched on egg shells. A photo is attached. The sauce had a touch too much lemon and there was way too much of it on the eggs. Couldn't really taste the egg and corned beef. On a good note, my grandson's pancakes were good. We did bring the egg shells to the servers attention. She said she would tell the manager and then she disappeared.

My first time visiting and I am a fan!! The house made sausage, I want to buy it to take home. The corned beef Benny was so delicious. The mixed berry fruit bowl was generous but many of the berries were brown or old. Overall, I was pleased and cannot wait to return..

Ordered a Huevos Rancheros skillet, added turkey sausage and added a bagel and cream cheese, no substitutes at all. Everything is an add-on. Also ordered a Greek salad with feta on the side, they would not allow me to get a turkey Reuben, because it's not on the menu as such, even though they offer a turkey avocado melt. $49.29
Guess I will only be eating a salad for lunch today then. We will have to go elsewhere then.
They only allow you to order off the menu on the weekends as is, seems rather rigid. This is a first to be told that a place doesn't want my money for a turkey Rueben when the beef version is on the menu and they have turkey sandwiches as well.
Odd that my hubby's plain black coffee comes in a styrofoam cup, my green tea is in the usual expected ceramic mug. My husband will wait for a ceramic cup.
The extremely rude waitress brought out a ceramic mug, after I asked for a ceramic mug. She made us feel most unwelcome during our entire visit. The staff member that brought us our food and brought me the Greek dressing were much more pleasant and warm.
They do charge you for using a credit card here, around 4%, of course they do. Seems kind of high for a CC charge.
Huevos isn't bad. They only gave us three flour tortillas. My husband wanted one more, but this place is so cheap, so we figured they would charge us for that, since they don't allow for any substitutes of ingredients or charging just an up charge instead of charging for full price item sides.
Got the Greek salad, but no dressing at all. Am I supposed to eat this thing dry? I had to ask another waitress for some dressing 7 minutes later, since our waitress had no clue she hadn't brought any dressing at all.
The red onions look so old and are thick cut rings, tossed them on the side.
The tomatoes aren't ripe.
Salad core in the salad. At least they use Romaine, spinach and greens.
Salad is not special, dressing tastes like ranch with some beet juice added to it.
Green tea is meh, coffee too.
I believe our waitress needs some retraining on her job, she's not so good at it. Our waitress never checked on us once after the order and bringing our coffee and tea. She couldn't be bothered it seems.
Not a good experience today at all, made worse by our main waitress. Odd her name is Tootsie, would have thought she would be a tad nicer though.
Huevos was decent. Greek is worth a pass. Try to get anyone else but Tootsie, unless you like being treated indifferently and invisible.

Super fast, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Felt like most customers were loyal or returning customers. Food was delicious and great temperature. Typical yet, intricate menu. Good to know this place is here when in town for the game.
