You'll have to wait almost 2 hours for the food.... It's good but I was extremely hungry so I don't know if was because I was hungry. The ladies are rude and doesn't answer the phone. It's extremely frustrating to pay a lot of money for the nasty treatment.

Not only was the place hard to find but the food was TERRIBLE. it was the worst first impression of Nigerian food. I’m not a picky eater nor is anything rarely bad in my opinion but this place was atrociously horrible. Everything had the same bland taste of BAD BREATH ?. That’s what it tasted like. I’m fine with spice, and weird smelling food (unlike most) so it wasn’t even that. But it just TASTED horrible. Food never goes to waste in my house but we just could not find it in ourselves to finish that food.

I cannot comment on their ambience as I ordered for delivery both times over months (I forgot the name after the 1st time) and both times the food was horrible enough for me to be up at 3am due to hunger in the hotel to warn people. Whoever cooks there should go & learn basic cooking. Breaded Tilapia on terrible tasting”Edikaekong” poor imitation, terrible egusi and diluted red Stew-“pepper soup” with nothing similar to the Nigerian pepper soup but more like diluted red rice stew? We threw his food away both times & slept hungry! The person on phone was not even remorseful at our going to bed hungry after spending so much! It should be a crime to write misleading reviews as he has a lot of fake reviews online. You think you are getting away with ripping people off but it’s not fair! Hire a trained cook & stop the fake reviews. To think I mistakenly ordered here again after my last experience of throwing their food away? It is that bad. I did not remember the name of the horrible place during my last visit to Detroit so I followed the fake 5-star reviewers! Stop faking reviews online. Improve your cooking instead of ripping people off their hard earned $ like this! Now I wouldn’t forget the name of this terrible imitation of Nigerian cuisine whenever I’m in Detroit area! Fork Nigeria is NOT a Nigerian restaurant, it’s not even close to a place serving passable food. It’s a rip-off by someone who just thought he could cook but really doesn’t have a clue on how to cook at all. To think we have wasted almost $200 over two visits spanning months only to throw the food away each time! The person on phone asked me “if I tasted his “red stew looking pepper soup” when I called to give him a feedback ! Pepper soup never looked or tasted so horrible! Now I must not forget and mistakenly order from here again, the food is not Nigerian, not even tasty food. It’s tasteless food cooked & sold to unsuspecting public as Nigerian food. Kolaq is in Farmington which is far from downtown but serves authentic good Nigerian food. I wish we had driven there instead of the rip off!

The egusi was salty for no reason. Literally made me mad because I spent $26 on it to not even finish it because it was too salty. I used to like the egusi soup here but it seems like the recipe has changed. Didn’t like it at all.

The Egusi soup with the chicken was seasonsed so well ?. I also had fufu. I realized after doing more research you're supposed to swallow it and not chew! I have some fufu left so I will definitely try that.

I ordered Edikang Ikong with fufu and fish. I found it to be taste. I ordered through Doordash and it was on time. The driver placed my order on the small table I have on the porch and ran away.Vegetarian options: You can oder dishes with out meat.

I went to the Woodward location and the service was fast. There was a fire truck blocking the entrance way so they had someone come out to the street to deliver the food. The food is always amazing! Jollof rice w/ chicken is my favorite. Portions are large so you get your monies worth. Highly recommended.

This place - Why would you wrap the FuFu in Aluminum Foil??? It's already sticking to everything, then to wrap it in foil instead of the plastic wrap, where you might have a chance to actually enjoy all of your FuFu that you paid for & not tossing it in the garbage because it's stuck to the foil‍. The food was also noT what I anticipated??‍♀️Where is a really great *Real African Restaurant*??‍♀️

This is some tired Nigeria food, looking for some authentic Nigerian food, this is not it. The worst jellof rice I had in my life and I am Nigerian. Fried plantains were just like pourage, small fufu and watery egusi soup. I am sorry but this place ain't it.
