I want to love this place so bad, but I’ve never had consistent product from this place. The espresso drinks taste different most of the time, often tasting burnt and having grounds left at the bottom. I also ask for a flavor, which I’m told is do-able, but I can never taste it :(I’ve decided to give some of the food a try as well, and it very much reminds me of a school or hospital cafeteria. You can’t go wrong with a sandwich or muffin, but some of the other things just left a bad taste in my mouth.Don’t get me wrong; the service and atmosphere is untouchable. It truly is a cozy, welcoming place. Butthe past few times I’ve visited..the products were just not at their full potential.As a Wayne State student, this place is literally around the corner & I would love to be a frequent customer, but I can’t justify the prices with the combination of inconsistency here.

I'm a business student at WSU and I normally come out to the school a bit earlier to get coffee here. Fourteen East has comfortable, calm vibes and the coffee is amazing. If you need a nice spot to hang out and work, it's perfect.

No one was here. Came here the other day, walked in, saw no one, tried to shout "hello" to get anyone's attention, waited a few minutes and left. Literally could've walked out with the register.

I like this place! I had some time before I needed to go to another place and decided to have a coffee. Joanne was very kind and told me all the options they had. I went with the special of the day and it was delicious! Best coffee I had for a while. Also ate a Danish which was also very good.

The place was nice to sit in and the lady was nice enough but their food kind of fell short. The coffee was fine, not the best, not the worst, but their egg and cheese bagel just tasted like bagel with hints of egg and cheese. It looked like a single egg was scrambled and a single slice of cheese for the entire bagel. I could get more for the same price at McDonald's uo the road.

Entered the store around 11:15 on Saturday, November 12, 2022. I took out Chicken Artichoke Quiche ($6.25 before tax) and enjoyed the art.

The most DISGUSTING coffee I have ever tasted!! Ordered a cappuccino paid 5 bucks and came in the smallest cup and it was all foams no coffee…Don’t recommended this to anyone!
