I ordered the fried whole wings Tuesday special 10 whole wings for $15. The wings were of poor quality, old, and had a ton of feathers on them. I returned them for a refund. No problem there, and the clerk said she would let management know of my complaint.

Ordered some Red Snapper today and drove over 20 miles to be very disappointed and dissatisfied for $80? The fish was very dry, not fresh with some scales left on the fish. We've purchased fish from here before but never experienced this type of dissatisfaction. The fish had no taste at all but should have gotten Catfish. Will be looking for better service that's local.

I’m very honest and this wasn’t worth my money or time I spent $28 on absolutely NOTHING my fish was fried way to hard and I was cheated on a half pound of jumbo shrimp which was cold after waiting 45mins. It’s other fish places that’s way better , Good luck to my donation!

I'm disappointed with my order today. It wasn't seasoned like before. I ordered a dinner and it was supposed to be more fish than the sandwich, it wasn't. It was dry...this has not happened before. Everyone has an off day. I'm sure I'll order again but if this happens, I'm done.

Fresh Fish House lives up to its name. You can definitely tell that a lot of the fish there has a relatively fresh smell and taste. Was it caught yesterday? No, not that fresh but close enough. I really enjoy their pickerel sandwich. It's seasoned and cooked well. The service and efficiency is pretty good also. I definitely recommend this place to all the seafood lovers out there.
I’ve been coming to Fresh Fish House for over 10 years. I’ve patronized pretty much all of their locations across Metro Detroit. This particular location was the 8 mile location in Detroit, Michigan. The food has always been pleasing. Hot, fresh and seasoned well. However, it seems as if the owners of this establishment are choosing to not invest in the aesthetics and maintenance of the location. This location is in desperate need of an update/remodel. Additionally, the air conditioning is currently not working. Logically for some sort of comfort in the summer heat, employees are leaving the main door open causing flies and whatever else to freely enter into the building. It feels as if the owners of this establishment do not particularly care about how this establishment looks on the inside based on the area it’s in. It is in desperate need of a remodel and thorough deep cleaning. Customer service was good per usual. The wait was anticipated based on the food being made fresh. I’m requesting that this location be updated in support and respect for the locals patronizing this establishment. Lastly, I strongly doubt if this were a “different” location, none of this would be happening. Thank you.

Tasty and crunchy wings and seasoned very well. Shrimp wasn't bad, either. Will try the pickerel or the white bass next time. Best to call ahead bc the wait was a bit long. Food was hot and delish overall. Solid B+.

The fish wasn't fresh like it used to be. Fish eyes were dark instead of bloody red. Meat in fish seemed tinted in parts. I bought white bass. They don't clean fish after 7 pm. But still sell dinners you buy they fry.
