“I was in Detroit for a business trip, and looking for a place to relax en femme (my thing). Other CDs advised me to go to Adam's Apple. For a gurl, it is the best place EVER! I was there two nights, and could not believe the number of gurls there, men also (not enough or too shy to my taste, but that is another story). You go to such bars for the people, not the place, and it checked all the boxes!“
“What a great spot! We danced for hours and attended the show at the cabaret. The cabaret is fabulous, with a runway and plenty of stage space. Bar service was very slow, though. They have a cute little nook with snacks and bar food as well!“
“The first trans men's night last week was also my first real bar visit. My nb friend & myself (trans man) were a bit nervous, but we very quickly felt right at home. The bartenders are kind & attentive. (Didn't expect to immediately be flustered just ordering a drink!) The drinks were strong, damn good, and affordable. We're hoping to become regulars if our schedules can allow for it. The place was really laid-back & I hope I can be a little more talkative next time around!“
“The venue is an older venue on the Eastside of Detroit. Its really an "LGBT" Club, but everyone goes here for a great time, (yes, straight men), because it's always packed with women! The bartender makes great drink! The food is cool, if you're drinking and need to eat, and most of all, YOU WILL HAVE A BALL!“
