Wrong food on a pickup order. Probably the worst Thai food I've had in awhile. Way better options in Detroit. Do not recommend

Used to be really good a few years ago . The crab cheese literally had the smallest piece of crab ever and the kow pad was so bland i had to use several soy sauce packets and it still tasted like it was missing something

Sy's Fried Rice is super delicious. Usually get it with chicken and mild spice. Quick, tasty, great place to grab lunch. - Mike from iRepairMotown

Honestly, Go Sy Thai used to be one of my dependable Thai restaurants for years. But today I ordered their curry noodle & it was not edible. I’m so disappointed, I’m not sure if they changed their cooks but the dish was awful. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Ordered pad Thai and got this. The noodles were overcooked to the point of feeling gelatinous in the mouth, and there was no sauce. Literally. Just wet, bland, unseasoned, flavorless noodles with some steamed chicken. You know how sometimes when you’re really really hungry, a microwaved gas station hamburger can taste like the best thing you ever ate? I was at that level of hunger and still found this food to be nasty.

Everything is OK. Service OK. Food OK. Worst part is they don't have Thai Ice Tea, they ask me to go to the next store that sells thai ice tea. How come ? This is my first time knowing a thai food serve no Thai Ice Tea. Very disappointed.

Food was so goooood. I came in with a group of friends which some never had thai food before. Myah was very sweet and helpful and gave great customer service. I got the chicken pad se ew with hot and crispy roll. Everything was great and the spice was perfect i actually could've gotten hotter but love spicy food. My friends got the Orange glazed chicken mild, Tofu pad thai, kow pad and veggie spring rolls. We also got the thai iced tea, matcha and snacks. Everyone raved about everything and we cant wait to come back.

Just ordered from here and I'm sorry to say there has been a big decline in the quality of the food. The drunken noodles were sadly very bland and a bit watery even. It's a shame because I've had sy thai before and it was really good, but that was five years ago and I guess things have changed.

Fairly typical of downtown businesses, first you need to park the car. Once you move past that onerous duty, the good stuff happens.
A small place that does most of its business through carry-out & delivery still has space to seat 29 dining in.
The service is very quick. Myah was friendly & patient. The whole place a standard of efficiency. My food was ready just a couple of minutes after ordering.
Plenty of it, too. Hot, delicious, made as requested. If this is the lunch portion, the dinner amount is huge!
I was easily in and out in under an hour, too.

There used to be Halal options here, and the portions and quality of the food were much better. However, recently, they reduced the portions and compromised the quality of the food. To make matters worse, they also removed their Halal options, which has made the dining experience less appealing in Midtown.

Today I called in my order at 5:53, I got there about 6:05 I waited until 6:36 and they came up to me and canceled my order because the chef was too busy. But they served a table of 5 that ordered after I got there.

The food is great here but they just wasted 40+ mins of my time, they could have not taken the order or let me know earlier.

Don’t waste your money.
I ordered the Drunken Noodles and was seriously disappointed. The noodles were so mushy they fell apart trying to pick them up with a fork. The sauce was oily and separated, there were barely any vegetables, and the chicken came in unappetizing little crumbs. Worst of all, it tasted like it was made with artificial beef broth. About halfway through, my stomach started cramping, and the rest of the night went downhill from there. Hard pass.
