I absolutely love the local vibe at Green Dot Stables in Detroit! This place really makes you feel at home with its incredible service and friendly atmosphere. Wasn't busy due to the Draft going on, but food took a long time to come out. Fries were quick, hot and good but the sliders (4) took over half an hour longer. Food was good but not worth the wait.

This one is hard to write because this is one of my favorite restaurants. And I hope last weekend was just a one-time failure and not a change how things run there. Our fries arrived 5 minutes after we ordered. Our sliders showed up over an hour later. Servers did apologize for the delay. The fried chicken sliders were burnt. The corned beef sliders came with nothing but crumbs of meat. I hope whatever kitchen problems they have get fixed.

Not quite how I remember it but did enjoy 3 out of my 4 sliders and the Cajun fries. Had a couple nice beers as well. Favourite slider was the bacon bbq. Disappointed on the 1 hour wait but drinks in the covered patio made up for it.

Long wait time for sliders and cold food. The venison chili cheese fries were delicious and the atmosphere was nice, the service was decent but the kitchen must have been backed up on 4/20. The cheesesteak slider was gross, the fish fry was good but too much tartar sauce and no other toppings unless you ask for it. Beware of the Lansing hot chicken - it’s not hot chicken you would think of from Nashville or Korean hot chicken. Great drinks per my fiancé and his brother. Will not be coming back.

Our food took about 1.5 hours to reach our table and came out cold. Not exaggerating, it was COLD. Major breakdown in operations and super disappointing. We received 15% off as an apology which felt more like an insult after such a poor experience.

Had been a favorite for years, but the last experience was dismal. We sat down at noon and received the order almost 1.5 hrs later. All sliders were cold, meats tough as shoe soles, buns soaked. Service a disaster. Does not make me want to come back soon. Was nice as long as it lasted, at this point there are tons of other options in the city to go to.
HOT SLIDERS COMING RIGHT UP ?If you’re a slider maniac, you’re gonna find yourself fufilled at Green Dot Stables. With a cozy, authentic vibe you might even get lucky and find a rusty door hinge at a nearby abandoned building while waiting for the table (20 minutes not bad :0 )The sliders were really tasty but on the smaller side ( but come on! what are you expecting? it’s a slider!)My only complaint is that it did take about 25~ minutes for our 5 sliders to come out with no explanation. Probably just a busy night but I was about to start squirting mustard in my mouth I was so hungry!But if you go, you’re gonna fall in love. BLESSED! Thank you!Parking: There’s a midsize free parking lot.Kid-friendliness: We saw some kids there!
I have been hearing about this place from my wife's friends, today I decided to try it out with my buddies as we were going to a show downtown. They are famous for small hamurgers/sliders.EXCELLENT! Very satisfied!

I walked in starving, asked for a menu was given one, bartender completely ignored me sits another couple at the bar, asks them if it’s their first time, meanwhile I’ve been standing there for 5mins already, he kindly explained the menu to them, I get ready to order he says is this carry out which I already informed him it was, he then tells me they’re on wait and won’t be doing carry outs, environment wasn’t inviting at all, attitude wasn’t pleasant, this so why I only patronize progressive local bars, pubs and restaurants, I somehow got the feeling I wasn’t wanted or important due to their lack luster service and attitude. Never again, I’ll go where they appreciate “all” customers form all walks of life. I happened to be in the area for a reflective sound bath session. There are better spots downtown to visit. Guess I’ll head over on Jefferson after my session. Suck you very much.
