Does anyone know if it is true that Detroit hard rock is open?
I enjoyed the location, and had a blast. I ordered a steak and it came out cooked perfectly. Happened to be there for trivia night and had a lot of fun. It was certainly a pleasure to visit.
We went during the last few days they were open. Popular place in the "D" to visit, unfortunately, rent prices forced it to close. Hopefully they find another location in Detroit and re open soon.As typical with a Hard Rock, the walls are adorned with music history. Hard Rock Detroit walls are adorned with Motown History, highlighting Michigan movers and shakers. If visiting, please check to see if they found a new location.
Seating was a tad slow. The food was very tasty and the decor was of course fun. The drink I ordered was just the right amount of liquor.
A little expensive, if you choose to eat the steak. But the food is good, they have like this spicy type of mac and cheese and it's really good. I had this mango drink with my food and it was made perfectly and paired great with my food. As a plus, they had live entertainment. Keep on rocking, Hard Rock Cafe!!!!
Nice Rock music themed restaurant. Ambience is good. Food is Ok. Good for friends to hang out with drinks.
The stars are for the nostalgia, and the appetizers. The waitress forgot our drinks, brought drinks to the wrong table 2xs. Asked the manager and she didn't bring it and told the waitress the wrong table. The guy in the gift shop was forthcoming with info about the closure, but was OCD and please don't fold the shirts he's got it. The bartender was cool, thanks for the swizzlestick. Please go before Jan 26th, sad this place is closing after 15 years, over disagreements with the owners of the building and whatnot.
Great service and location for a holiday company get together.
My wife and I go here every time we come to Detroit (Usually for our anniversary). We always enjoy our meals. The staff have always been polite and friendly. The atmosphere is great. Theres almost always music playing (sometimes a little too loud) but it's always nice to go and listen to everything. The drinks are great. I've had several different things now. Theres so many things around the whole restaurant to look at and no 2 Hard Rocks are the same. One been to several Hard Rocks around the country now and have enjoyed each and every one. Will definitely keep returning.
Faster service than most Hard Rocks. I was with a student group and they had a DJ. The group really liked it. I thought it was a strange to see Aretha Franklin on the monitors and pop on the sound system.

Great place to bring the kids. They handle large parties well and have all the kids favorite foods. The music is also a real hit with the younger crowd so you just can't go wrong with the Hard Rock. Conveniently located across from Campus Martius right on Woodward Avenue.
The food was absolutely delicious. The drinks were great. I went in for my unbirthday and even though it wasn't that many people the waitress still did an awesome job of creating that special birthday feeling for me. Had an awesome time out with my mom. Steak cooked to perfection.
I enjoyed my cauliflower burger a lot, highly recommend for anyone looking for a good vegetarian option. The staff was also very Friendly. I like listening to the strange music there too with the music video. It's always an experience. I will be going back
