Hockeytown Cafe Reviews
Our server Taylor, was extremely efficient, friendly and spot on. Checked on us regularly to make sure we were good. The pizza was delicious and the drinks had alcohol in them. But all my accolades to Taylor, I haven’t had good service like that in a very long time
Came here after the tigers game on Mother’s Day and the bartender at the bar was terrible. She refused to serve me when I asked for beer. I was completely sober and she thought I was drunk because I have a speech impediment. I will never come here again.
Very friendly staff but unfortunately that doesn't make up for an outrageously expensive, terribly limited menu and disgustingly filthy restrooms. Don't waste your time or money.

Hockeytown Cafe is a lively spot for food and drinks before a show or game. The food is generally good, with popular items like mozzarella sticks, potato skins, and pizza. The decor is impressive, featuring a couple of floors filled with Red Wing memorabilia, although some areas may be closed if not busy. The atmosphere is busy and loud, making it a fun but noisy place to visit. Service can be mixed; at times, orders may be forgotten or take longer, and the menu is limited late at night. The attached Detroit Comedy Club allows guests to order from the cafe while enjoying the show. The pretzel sticks with dip are tasty, but the queso dip may seem store-bought. Ordering is easy online, but a gratuity is automatically added. Overall, it’s a popular spot for a fun night out, with a mix of good food, memorabilia, and a lively environment.
