Hockeytown Cafe Reviews
3 co-workers and I were in town for the Pistons game last night and stopped in to eat. We were sat at a table and got our drinks Ina timely fashion. We managed to get 2 appetizers ordered and then the confusion began. We had a different server appear asking if we had the pretzel and cheese bread. We answered that we did. Our original server walked up to her and they both disappeared. We sat at our table and was never checked in again. We finally managed to wave down the 2nd server...read full review
Very good pizza Mac n Cheese excellent
Vicky was AMAZING
Our server Taylor, was extremely efficient, friendly and spot on. Checked on us regularly to make sure we were good. The pizza was delicious and the drinks had alcohol in them. But all my accolades to Taylor, I haven’t had good service like that in a very long time

Hockeytown Cafe is a lively spot for food and drinks before a show or game. The food is generally good, with popular items like mozzarella sticks, potato skins, and pizza. The decor is impressive, featuring a couple of floors filled with Red Wing memorabilia, although some areas may be closed if not busy. The atmosphere is busy and loud, making it a fun but noisy place to visit. Service can be mixed; at times, orders may be forgotten or take longer, and the menu is limited late at night. The attached Detroit Comedy Club allows guests to order from the cafe while enjoying the show. The pretzel sticks with dip are tasty, but the queso dip may seem store-bought. Ordering is easy online, but a gratuity is automatically added. Overall, it’s a popular spot for a fun night out, with a mix of good food, memorabilia, and a lively environment.
