Husband and I went here before a red wings game and got the blt pizza...it was delicious!! Went to a tigers game today and took my daughter and her family there for the blt pizza since it had been the best...but it was no longer on the menu. We were very disappointed.

My gf and I decided to pregame before the Kane Brown concert. Hostess stated there is a 45 minute wait which I said ok and gave my name and number. After 30 minutes, 2 seats opened at the bar so we decided to get a drink while we waited. After over an hour, we decided to just order food at the bar. We were there nearly 2 hours and never called for a table even though when we left the place was half empty. Food was even worse. Chicken sandwich was overcooked and all you could taste was salt. Would stay away from this place. I did let the hostess know that we were leaving and stated our name was never called for a table to which all he could say was, oh. Don't waste your time here.

On my third seat within the bar… hoping someone will acknowledge me. Thinking of doing jumping jacks for attention. This place is a joke. Not that busy and yet nothing. Don’t do it. Going to sit here until friends meet and get out. Reception was very kind, just kidding…. No reception. Way better places to go around here. Update… bartenders on phones just hanging out. I’m going to take my kid to sit at the bar. Hopefully that draws attention. Also, restroom with no paper towel. This place is sweet. How do I get people to avoid this place at all cost? This place gets more laughable every second………They are currently running a 5 choice menu with two items not available. Come here if you want to order disappointment.

My friends and I recently visited Hockeytown Cafe to pregame before a Detroit Red Wings game, and we had a blast! The atmosphere was lively and filled with fellow fans getting ready for the game. Our server was absolutely awesome; they were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They recommended the perfect drinks for us, which really added to the excitement of the day. The service was prompt, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, our experience at Hockeytown Cafe was top-notch, and we'll definitely be back for more pregame fun in the future!

Kind of a joke here. Service is terrible. I'm now going on a 1/2 hour wait without anyone even addressing me. Not that busy, but what you would expect here I guess. Don't do it, go to Union or somewhere else. Receptionist was awesome, just kidding no one was there.

They don’t customize anything on the menu. My whole life I’ve hated having to deal with my food allergies. The fact that they won’t accommodate someone with food allergies is very disappointing. Will never go back or recommend it. All you had to do was take the cheese off my sandwich and I would have been happy. Is that so hard to do?

Host lady seemed like she was having a bad day or something, was acting like we were an inconvenience to ask for a seat. She told us to head upstairs and seat ourselves at the high tops, but there wasn’t any place to sit. When we came down and told her, she got even more upset and told us to sit at the bar or figure it out ourselves. Lol GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION.After sitting at the bar, we tried to order their chicken sandwich with the bartender. Due to my girlfriend being lactose intolerant, we tried to get the sandwich without cheese. However, the bartender and the manager refused, said there don’t allow any substitutions. LIKE WHAT?! LOL. They told us we had to order something else on the menu and if we didn’t like that we can leave.I understand it’s a busy Saturday evening before the pistons game but their service is terrible. DO NOT GO THERE. Union Assembly is way better, do yourself a favor and go there instead. Honestly just embarrassing for them. I’ve never felt prone to write a review until now. This is what happens when you’re rude to the customer ?

5 stars all around. We got there when they opened and had food and drinks before walking around the corner to the RW game. We have to come back in the summer to hang on the rooftop and listen to a Tigers game! Its a little pricey, but a way better experience than Harry's.

CHECK your bank statements after dining. Apparently a $13 dollar tip wasn’t enough on a $37 dollar bill because I checked my bank statement the next day and the waitress gave herself an extra $5 bucks. Thanks a lot. I’ll never be back!!!!!
