This place has been around since I was a lil kid .. and I’ll be 51 this year .. I will give them props .. back in the day they were the best damn Chinese restaurant in the city especially on the Eastside .. back when the old Black lady worked the counter … but how this place is still open is beyond me .. the place ain’t been renovated in 40 years literally.. it’s nasty it’s dirty it’s funky .. you can’t tell me they ain’t got roaches and rats ? in there.. its disgusting… and the fact in 40 years all that money they have made they didn’t take one dollar and rebuild or upgrade .. so if they don’t care how their establishment look how you think they care bout what’s in your food … city should of been shut them down .. damn shame

The outside of this place and the inside will make you turn around and leave. It needed updating probably 20 years ago. But the food is the best on the east side. The owners are cranky/nice people. The neighborhood loves them and they love the neighborhood.

A diamond in the real rough. The price/freshness of the food speaks for itself. I had a stir fry shrimp and a mushroom gravy. Hopefully love gets pumped back into the area.
Vegetarian options: This restaurant been there since the '60s I'm 57 now it was there since I was a kid like two or three years old and they still going strong

I have only had the lo mien from here but they used gravy instead of whatever sauce they're suppose to use... And it's very wet... Lo mien is not suppose to be so saturated. It's disgusting. Gravy on noodles is not good. Wasted $10 and I'm feeding it go the stray dogs..Other food might be good, the lo mien is NOT
