Jacoby's Reviews
Bartender was beyond rude. The water is foul and the food was mediocre… you couldn’t pay me to return here lol
Great service. Great food. We had the sausage/cheese platter, and their pretzels. Pretty tolerant of two Kentucky boys who hit the beer pretty hard the two nights we dropped in. The place had a good crowd both nights. Nice little pub. If I'm ever up that way again, it'll be one of my first stops.
Awful service and disrespectful staff. Will never take my business to this establishment again. Do yourself a favor & keep walking past this place.

Jacoby's in Detroit offers a German-influenced menu with a variety of dishes like schnitzel and sausage soup. The food is delicious with large portions, including favorites like potato pancakes, Rindfleisch Rouladen, and the oven baked pretzels. The atmosphere is great, with a selection of German and Belgian craft beers, including a good beer cheese. The restaurant has a cool, lowkey environment, especially since it is located in Greektown, and it features a rich history that adds to its charm. Service is generally good, with attentive staff ensuring guests have what they need, and the bartenders are friendly. The place is popular for its authentic food, impressive beer selection, and stories behind its history. While some small details like bathrooms could be improved, Jacoby's remains a good spot for German food and beer in Detroit, worth visiting for a tasty meal and a relaxed vibe.
