The food here was good. My waffle was sweet without the syrup. The chicken was seasoned and fried to perfection. The Mac and cheese was cheesy. Now the greens was the downfall, they tasted like glory greens and the were super salty. Other than that, I give this place an 8/10. I'm definitely going back for the waffle and chicken

The bar was dirty had dishes next to chairs Bartender was the manger also the waiter as well. I saw all this the moment I walked in at 12:45 order food at 12:53. Didn’t receive my food until 1:23-1:30 then it was the wrong chicken I order chicken tenders she brings me chicken wings so it had to go back.. then brings out three warm soggy chicken tenders I send them back… after 10 mins go by they never came back and at this point I was over eating. I asked for the manger she took the meal off the bill. I had order $10 drink once I got there.. the bill was total was 15.&change. I gave her a $20. Why the manger/bartender. Give me back 4.25…& said I don’t have the five cents…. I looked at the bill and it’s said a damn $5.10 Gratuity SHE MADE SURE SHE GOT HER 5.10 but couldn’t give me my five cents… she needed my extra cents or or the company need to hired trained happy clean people for this place. If they ever want to keep the business going. Mind you I was only. To pick my food up.. and was in there for a whole hour. This how she brings my order out chicken was removed.

The only way for me to leave a review I had to give at least 1 ⭐️! However, this place deserves ZERO ⭐️s from me!! Customer Service is HORRIBLE or shall I say the lack of! My visit was on 7/27/2025 at approximately 2:50p.m. The place was not crowded unfortunately the workers weren’t working either! We were there for maybe 25 minutes without NO acknowledgment after we were seated! We witnessed a table of 2 leave without being serviced then a table of 3 left after being served their water and a drink that were left behind untouched due to not being further acknowledged. The party that was sitting with me moved for a moment to the cushioned bench next to me because the metal chair was uncomfortable to their back side! After the waitress cleared the table that had been left with their drinks untouched, without as much as a hi, someone will be right with you or anything she RUDELY pushed the chair in which my party was sitting in back under the table in which I was sitting at and kept walking! At that point the establishment lost 2 more customers!!! I understand that some of us have businesses that we would like to continue to last in the business world however with staff such as Kuzo Chicken & Waffle the owner would be better off running their business themselves or get rid of the unconcerned, not wanting to work “I’m just here for a check” type of attitude employees! Definitely just lost 2 + customers with us today! I NEVER do reviews unfortunately I had to share!

Went here for my birthday and got terrible service, the waitress was rude and had a very bad attitude, I'm not sure if it was because of the rush or not. Our food was cold, the salmon croquettes tasted like they were cooked in old grease, I couldn't get syrup for my waffles and we felt rushed to give our seats up for the incoming crowd(two seats).This was my 3rd time going and usually I ignore the waitresses, because they tend to have a nasty disposition, but it was my birthday and I guess that was the last straw for me. I only gave a tip because of my values, but deep down I regret it because they ruined my birthday breakfast and I really was disappointed in the service that I received.

On the morning of my birthday, I called in an order for breakfast. I went to Cuzzo’s to pick up my order, which was not ready. I was continuously told it would be 10 minutes 10 minutes to be exact. It was one and 1/2 hour after I placed my order that I left there without any food whatsoever so I would say pass on this unless you have a unlimited amount of time to waste.

Our waitress was so kind and made some wonderful recommendations. I also loved how another server was willing to help us and the staff seemed to truly work together to help the customer have a wonderful experience. The drink (KoolAid Long Island - Light KoolAid) was tasty and not too sweet or strong. the Big Red and the Traditional Chicken and Waffles were both very tasty! The sides (Mac N cheese and Yams) we ordered were not the best in flavor, but they were okay. The restaurant is very clean and nicely designed. I enjoyed my meal, for sure!
Asked for a refund my meal was $33 the girl named bre only gave me $13 back

Service was basically fine but there was a long wait for food (around 30 minutes, for 4 people, and we were the only customers waiting for food in the restaurant). The gumbo appeared to have been microwaved - the plate was hot but the food was not, and the plate itself was messy and not clean. The soul rolls were kinda tasty but very strange, and one contained a piece of turkey bone, which was not cool, and the salad garnish was dangerously mushy and inedible. The chicken, waffles and fries seemed good and all got eaten. Not all drinks were available which appeared on the menu and feet stuck to the floor throughout the restaurant. Fell short of the mark for me today.

As Asian male supporting Black business, this place has no good costumer services skills and the waiting to get the food is bias as other reviewers have said! I waited well over an hour and half for some chicken! When I spoke with the manager who had locks, he didn't want hear me out! I will never come back and most of the reviews are RIGHT!
