Exceptional Itilian dining. I am a fan of the Da Eduardo restraunts. Each one has some unique items you do not get at the others. Highly recommend.Parking: If lucky enough to get street parking, good for you. If not, private lot rates are between $10 and $100, depending on what is going on. If there is an event in the area, you will be gouged.

This place was absolutely amazing. Not only does the I owner greet you with her smile at the front door, but then our server Danielle had the most amazing recommendations. This is a must try for anyone who happens to be in the area. If you’re not in the area, even more of an excuse to drive down here and eat some delicious and amazing food! I would give this place 10 stars if it was an option. Food was too delicious to photograph. We just devoured it!!!

Really great Italian restaurant ! Great list of cocktails and wines.We were served by Nick! AWESOME SERVICE! Nice, sympathique, patient. Nick recommended cocktails that we loved. We took the La lanterna pizza and the porcini penne and we absolutely loved it.Next time we are in Detroit we will certainly visit this restaurant again!

Ordered via door dash while staying at a hotel in Detroit and it was hands down, the best Italian food I’ve had! Menu was small, but so flavorful. We had the ✨homemade meatballs, ✨chicken parm pasta, ✨ house salad with house dressing, and ✨ sausage banana pepper pizza. Very impressed and would definitely eat here again!

Yesterday was our first visit to La Lanterna. We would highly recommend for friendly service and top notch food. We started with the calamari recommended by Stephen and it was perfectly prepared with just the right spices and texture. We also enjoyed the homemade meatballs and gnocchi. To finish, the espresso martinis prepared by Ino are a must.

Our bartender Ynocecncio was awesome. It was our first time and he walked us through the house specialties. Very knowledgeable and makes a wicked 1956!!! House Merlot is very good and I’m a Napa wine snob!!

My new favorite Italian place. Get the Grandma's meatballs. Never had anything better! Pizza was perfecto! And more reasonably priced than San Morello which is also yummy but more than double the price.
