Great beer selection. I tried two of their house made beers and they were fantastic! They also have a very large refrigerator case with beers from around the world that you can drink there or take home. It's a German style beer hall seating and a couple of TVs and a bar. The staff was great. They recently brought in Deutschtoit to provide German food and it is very authentic. Definitely put this place on your list of places to try. You won't be disappointed.

Great vibe near Eastern Market. Bottles and cans from around the world, haus biers, guest taps, and a solid soundtrack. Family style seating, so prepare to make new friends at busy times. The gluhwein at holiday time is sweet and comforting. Wood definitely recommend to friends.

Really cool place. Large venue. Indoor and outdoor seating. Chill vibes. Excellent service. The staff gave me great recommendations for beer and let me try a few first before I ordered. I really enjoyed the beer options. Fantastic sandwiches! Their apple and Brie sandwich was amazing! I can't wait to eat it again. Great location, by Eastern Market. I'm so happy I stopped in!

Servicena little slow maybe? But thats the vibe. Anyway fantastic beers, cool atmosphere, good location. Nice on a Sat afternoon.

Great place, love the beer and atmosphere. Close to Eastern Market so can walk off in the area. The service has continuously declined. Today even ordered a simple pretzel (not including the beer) and had to go back in to see where the pretzel was. They handed it to us rather than bringing it out with our assigned number. The service is horrible!! Other than that, great place. Replace the staff!

Someone in the kitchen must be German! Wandered down the street because the new Greek place was mobbed (rainy day at EM). Ordered the Brat Plate, served with two types of mustard, a piece of delicious pumpernickel bread, and two sides. Creamy cucumber salad with dill was quite tasty and authentic (sauerkraut less soon, but still provided the tart counter taste). Not a beer lover so cannot comment there, but will need back for the open, airy space, great service, and high quality bar food!

This is one of our go to places. The outside beer selection is great and the beer they brew is very good too. The food options are pretty simple, but they are also fine if you bring something in from outside. Bartenders are very nice and happy to chat and they often have live music. Give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.
