I like to come here about once a week for the lunch special. Always go with the chicken with a couple sides. Can't beat that home made cooking. They season the food to perfection and it's always super fresh!

I should have followed my first mind a went somewhere else.. first off I don’t live no where near this place so I drove a good ways . The one lady behind the counter taking orders always have an attitude for some reason but any who I order smothered turkey chop Mac a cheese dressing a yams…. When I say I don’t live near this place I was ready to take that drive to go back!!! My turkey chop was hard as a brick and dried out and it was pose to be smothered on no dressing was dry an as well as the Mac an cheese I will say this will be my last time visiting this place for damn near $30 I’m good

I have never been to a soul food place so bad. I ordered turkey chops smothered and they gave me pork chop! I couldn't tell the difference until I was stuck in the bathroom all day because I DONT EAT PORK! then the mac n cheese tasted like noodles with cheese sprinkled on top with no flavor smh. And my yams were so dried out! I would never come here again. What a waste of 30 dollars!!! Be warned!

I come here often I really enjoy the food. However this past Thursday I was given mac that was dry and didn't really have any cheese in it. Also, the texture of the Yams indicated that they were old or had been sitting out. Two weeks ago, I was at the 12 mile location and everything was fresh and to perfection! Is the hood being lesser quality?

Went there yesterday I got the catfish dinner with black eye peas and greens the black eye peas was good the greens was okay but the catfish was sooooo salty that I couldn't even eat it
I've been to this location about 3 times. The food is ok. Not great, but not bad either. My last visit I got the 5 chicken wing dinner. Dressing, candied yams and greens (were extra) Dressing and chicken is good. The yams you can tell was canned. They were alright. The greens-I've had better.

Ok, I just had fries. They were delicious and hot. My family ordered meals (meatloaf, baked chicken, collards, and mashed potatoes). They were extremely happy. My fussy aunt, who complains about almost everything, even said that it was delicious. Very nice sized portions.
The young man who took our orders was very helpful with our selections. He was so professional and patient. If you have a hankering for some great soul food, make a b-line to this place.
