I would have given it a better rating, but the service was not up to par. I asked for a hot chocolate mix with coffee and the waitress gave me a hard time about that saying they don't normally do that because of the refills. I have gotten it there before. That did not make sense to me and I told her I didn't want a refill. I just wanted my coffee mix with hot chocolate. I ordered a side salad with feta cheese and the feta cheese was spoiled. I walked past the kitchen...
Nice local spot in downtown Detroit to grab a bite to eat. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I take my sister and her boyfriend on lunch dates and they really enjoy the atmosphere. Unlike most restaurants these days, the place is quiet. It's nice to be able to eat out and not have to be disturbed by loud music. The food is decent in quantity, taste and the price appropriate.
Good food and service, but it's expensive for lunch. On average, my co-workers and I spend about $15 per day. They've also changed the menu, deleting our favorite dish. Lastly, the online menu doesn't match the in-store menu, so not all items are available.
