Had a reservation for a month in advance for 8 people. Arrived and informed it was cancelled. I did NOT cancel nor receive notification of this. Staff was indifferent said 'we are fully booked nothing we can do. ' Seeked out manager on my own. Told to contact RESY directly-like that would help us...Assured me we would have 8 seats at the bar with 4 available now and saving us the ones next to those- never happened. They didn't save those seats and others took them. We were there almost two hours and there were also 2 empty large tables...completely disappointed in the lack of care or customer service. Would give zero stars for customer service if were possible.

Ok food. Not as good as I hoped for you, but liked the service, atmosphere and the date cake dessert. Will come back to try other menu items.

The food as usual was absolutely phenomenal. We frequently visit this gem and it never disappoints. Bhagi was an excellent waitress and I have never had one complaint. Thanks

Great place, was seating at the counter and enjoyed my dinner.
Place is a bit noisy as super popular and packed.
Food wise, I need to come back to judge again as the option I chose (boneless chicken something) was unfortunately dipping in oil and I feel it is not fair to judge on this dish alone

Me and fiancé went to Leila’s for our anniversary and the food was amazing as always, but the staff went so above and beyond to celebrate us!!! They wrote us the most lovely card and gave us each a complimentary glass of wine and ice cream. Several staff and possibly the manager came by to congratulate us too. Leila truly understands what fine dining means and is absolutely worth it!

Nice ambiance and staff. Appetizers were pretty good, I really liked them with drinks. They had a nice cocktail selection. I was not too crazy for the main dishes. (Being Middle Eastern, I’m used to this food - I will say that). Dessert was great.

I would be back for drinks and apps.

One of our favorite go to places. The food is always excellent. We have been many many times and the food is always consistently wonderful and fresh. We usually dine at the bar, and I can tell you that the service is top-notch no matter who is back there. Ownership and management find a way to provide a great experience every time.

Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely incredible experience!
From the moment we walked in, Megan—the manager—made sure we were taken care of. Our server, Christian, was outstanding. His service alone is worth coming back for.

The food was amazing, the menu had great choices, and the cocktails were on another level.

Do NOT miss this place when you’re in Detroit, Michigan. It’s an absolute must. Highly recommend.

Average middle eastern food for white people. As if some one sucked off all taste and spices from what makes ME food special and left IHOP versions of it. Too expensive for mediocre food.

As a Lebanese, this isn’t 100% authentic Lebanese. It has hints of Lebanese.

The good: The tabouli and baba ghanouj were spot on. I loved but traditional tabouli has tomatoes! This tabouli was missing that.

The not so good: The raw kibbe had more cracked wheat than raw meat. The chicken in Deboned Chicken in Markouk didn’t smell nor taste fresh. It smelled like chicken smells when it’s heated in the microwave. The batata harra is chopped too large and was too hard, plus it didn’t have parsley or garlic on them like the Lebanese version would but oddly has jalapeño. The Shish Tawook to me was very bland, not sure there was a marinade on it like it traditionally does, if it did, it definitely wasn’t enough.

Very nice restaurant and I would recommend trying it once but it’s not one of those places you’d frequent only because the food didn’t leave a lasting impression.

Come here for the vibes, not the “lebanese” food. When Dearborn is about 15 minutes from this place, you have much better Lebanese food options.

Leila was such a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is beautiful, the food was full of flavor, and everything felt really thoughtfully done without being over the top.

I also want to mention Ibrahim (forgive me if I’m spelling it wrong!) — he took great care of me. Super kind, attentive, and just genuinely good at what he does. Little things like that make the experience so much better.

Overall, a really enjoyable visit. I’ll definitely be back.
