Such a beautiful place! Such a unique experience. I recently went here with my friend and we were in awe the entire time. Every detail of the decor is amazing and well thought out from the ceiling down to the forks and napkins. I also had probably the best caprese sandwich I have ever had in my life.

Sadly, I cannot recommend Lily and Elise Tea Room. Our group secured our reservation a month in advance and were told they could accommodate gluten free dietary needs. I even called three days prior to ensure this need could be met. On the day of our reservation, after being sat for an hour, we were told they were out of GF bread and offered a soup or salad in lieu of an expensive high tea experience. The staff eventually purchased grocery store GF bread and our party waited two hours for our food. Meanwhile we had drank all our tea while waiting two hours and were not offered more. After finally being served, we were given to go boxes and asked to vacate in ten minutes as another party was waiting for our table!
The decor is very pretty and this place has potential if properly ran!

What a lovely discovery - beautiful space, fantastic location, the best golden matcha latte I’ve ever had. Fabulous pastries and sandwiches to go - I had no idea! Brunch was booked but the carry out was amazing!!

While everything we tried was delicious, the pastries were hands down the highlight of our visit! They are simply divine—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I couldn’t get enough!
What truly took our experience to the next level was the outstanding customer service. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home. Their enthusiasm and genuine care for their customers made our visit even more memorable.
Overall, I would give Lily's and Elise Decor a solid 10 out of 10! If you're visiting Detroit, this is a must-stop spot. I can't wait to come back and indulge in more of their amazing offerings! Highly recommend!

This is an amazing tea room! I’m so glad this business is a part of our community.
I have ordered take out a few times now usually good,today I received frozen soup and a semi frozen canoli.i called and instead of an apology or offer to fix my order, I was told "that's what our take out meals consist of now".I,m 55 never have I received frozen take out from a restaurant.WTH.and had to go back and ask for silverwear.very dissatisfied.one customer lost I go to Kroger for frozen meals.not a restaurant.
