About the haircut:
I went in for a hairlining on a cute Pixie Cut & ended up shaved completely scalp bald up past my earlobes... Be careful, don't let a woman come into work late, smelling like weed, looking disheveled do a simple line on your neck YOU'LL REGRET IT!!
3 months later, my hair has grown back

It was my first time at Lucky-Corktown. I ordered iced pistachio latte which was amazing. The lovely baristas Amber and Natalie were very helpful when it came to selecting from the menu, on top of them being so utterly kind and friendly. 10/10 will definitely be coming back. Had to get a pistachio croissant on the way out ☺️💕

Coffee and pastries are amazing. The space is cute and unique. You can grab an espresso and a haircut at the same time! Staff were pleasant and helpful.

It is so nice to have a coffee shop inside of a barber shop! My kids get their haircuts and I get my coffee! I had an americano with oat milk and it was good. My kids had hot chocolate and it was delicious! They also have an "aerocano," which is an iced americano with air incorporated into it making it kind of foamy and frothy. It looked good. Will try on a less cold day.

Went to Lucky Detroit for the first time this weekend. The dirty chai did not disappoint! Super flavorful and not too strong. The atmosphere is very old-school, which I loved. I also ordered a blueberry muffin heated up and it was even better. Very soft & tasted really fresh. I will be back!

I went to the Grosse Pointe location for the first time this morning and was pleasantly surprised at the bright, cheerful atmosphere of the new coffee roaster on Kercheval. The service was friendly and the coffee was just delicious. I am a no fuss, black coffee drinker - so there's no hiding behind syrups and froth. The Americano had a rich flavor, was smooth and hot and perfect for a cold February morning. And I spent less than $4!

Edit* Went to 5 stars. As you can see from the response below, the issue has been resolved and they have retained a customer who will be ordering online again in the future soon. One day I will actually make time to stop by a location for a proper cup :)

I am reviewing an online order. I have placed 2 orders, the first being delivered on time and the coffee itself was great. The second order I placed at the end on Jan (believe the 30th) and I have yet to receive anything. I have placed emails to their customer service as they do not have a direct number to call (it goes to the barbershop on the first floor and I will give that person who answered props as they tried to figure out who they needed to put me in contact with so that I could get my order delivered...). It would be really helpful if they had an online customer service to call. For now, I will place 1 more email and then probably just cancel the order.

absolutely love lucky - in from la and the corktown location was my first visit - best cappuccino I've had in detroit - by far - everyone was super friendly as well - will def be back in the coming days - felt totally 'lucky' to find it!

I tried out Lucky Detroir for the first time. I loved their signature brown sugar coffee. The upstairs has a great view of Corktown.

I am not from this area but came here to shop at King’s Bookstore. We found ourselves in want of coffee while shopping and googled coffee shops nearby. I liked that Lucky freshly roasts their beans. We ordered a double with pistachio milk, a chai, a mint latte and cinnamon rolls. Every drink was phenomenal and that pistachio milk blew my mind. The coffee is smooth, not bitter and has layers of flavor that delight the palette in a way I have not experienced before. We all agreed these were exceptional drinks and vowed to leave a review…which I have never done. The cinnamon rolls were light and buttery with just the right sweetness. A perfect pairing for an afternoon pick me up.
I am recommending all to patronize Lucky. In fact run, do not walk, to Lucky. You will not be disappointed, you will be blessed!

I ordered an oat milk latte with cinnamon and honey it was perfectly smooth and balanced! They make their own milk and syrups as well! also got the raspberry muffin which was good as well! will be back
