Made a reservation on Friday for 70 dollars, first the waitress was no where to be found for about 20 minutes and they ended up sending a younger man to serve us with apologies stating that our original waitress was not able to help out, okay fine, food was good but not great. When it was time to pay I was charged full price for this meal, tho I had a reservationâŚthey realized after we tried to leave and they brought us back in. Was told that money would be back in my account by the end of the DAY..I was charged an ADDITIONAL 18 almost 19 dollars for a reason I wasnât told fully because they were trying to âreverse chargesâ by charging me extraâŚI called them and was told I was charged less than 100 and thatâs it..math aint mathing at all.
UPDATE:Called them 1 day and a half later because no money was still never reversed after over 24 hrs (the 200) and was told the extra 150+ were pretty much ANOTHER âfeeâ for holding a spot which was already paid for. Not to mention the 2nd time we called this place they stated they did NOT see a 200 dollar charge, only a charge for 18 dollars which was the 2nd time they took my card, WHICH MEANS THERES NO REASON TO TAKE AN ADDITIONAL FROM THE 200 IF I WAS CHARGED FOR THIS ALREADY!! Our THIRD phone call, the manager finally says she sees my charge and told me what was stated above and they will not be giving my full money back apparently theyâre stealing another 20, but yall charging over 100 for hidden fees she said..I got screenshots of proof of the reservation paid for, the double charge from my bank which they confirmed, and I got another human too confirm this woman stated she saw no charge for 200 the second call but the third phone call she did, donât get scammed here yall

The service, ambiance and cocktails were 10/10. The food not so much. We were a party of 7 seated in an outdoor chalet. The service was phenomenal, the cocktails and the ambiance were perfect. We had a bottle of wine recommended from our server which we enjoyed and we also ordered the hibiscus margarita and the capri sunset, both strong and delicious, the lavender lemonade however tasted like syrup and way too sweet. For appetizers we had the pork belly, Brussels sprouts, wings, and calamari. They were all great and the pork belly was our favorite. For the mains we ordered the burrata salad with salmon, new York strip, wagyu short rib, lumen burger, crispy Thai salmon and lamb chops. The burger was probably the best. The New York strip (medium rare) was DRY and thin, the burrata salad left much to be desired, the Thai salmon was great but came with a side of shredded carrot, shredded purple cabbage and edamame that lacked any seasoning or flavor, the lamb chops were also very thin and dry, the wagyu short rib was tender and decent. They offered valet for $15 or there is a lot across the street for $10 and of course street parking if you could find a spot. Overall we would go back for cocktails and the great service but probably not any of the food.

Went here valentines weekend and we sat outside in igloo it was so pretty and the food was delicious. I got the shrimp Florentine. It had really huge shrimp which was so good and I got the meatballs for appetizer and they were delicious as well. My server Dominique was really nice. I would definitely recommend this place and will come again. No Iâm about to get dressed to take a shower.

Came in late Friday night for Valentine's day. Holidays like this are brutal on the staff but as always Lumen knocked it out of the park. Perfectly crafted cocktails, appetizers to die for, and entree's that you can't stop eating. Lumen has earned our business and we will continue to come and recommend them to anyone that asks. Every single time I dine at Lumen it is a treat. In particular, the Lumen burger is one of the best in Metro Detroit. I keep returning just for the burger. They also offer delicious mocktails, so if you are dry for whatever reason, you wonât be stuck ordering a pop.
