Excellent lunchtime restaurant. Perfect to get something delicious to go. I recommend their turkey Florentine sandwich, their southwestern salad, and their chicken pot pie soup. So many good different soups to get and delicious focaccia pairs well with it.

My favorite go-to lunch place, been coming here for years. If you like sandwiches, soups or salads you have to come at least once. Their selection of homemade soups is especially noteworthy, they have around 10 or more different soups every day, but once they're sold out they're gone. You can ask for a sample before you decide. I need to mention that they also have breakfast and a hot lunch meal special and while both of them look great I've never gotten either myself.Just to shout out some of my favorites, the atomic turkey sandwich, garlic chicken parmesan and pasta soup, and the Ceaser salad (which has tomatoes and cucumbers, I love that but some might consider it sacrilegious). It has a very heavy lunch rush, I try to get there around 11:30, but the line does move so even if it's wrapped around the dining area don't panic.

My volunteers loved their boxed lunches. Soup was ok; hot but a little bland (chicken pot pie). Overall, pleasant service, good food selections and good prices. Will return often.

Saw that they changed gloves between each sandwhich making. As a vegetarian, I really truly appreciate that. Also the staff was super nice.

Soups are hearty and seemingly homemade. Sandwiches are flavorful and well apportioned. Have an idea of what you want when ordering, the line gets huge and others are looking to grab and go. They also have a large selection of grab-n-go salads and healthy snacks. Not too many places to sit, but this is mostly a takeout place.

A rotating selection of soups. All stellar and veg& GF options. Salad menu is strong as is the sandwich game. The service is fast and friendly even when dealing with monster downtown lines. I wish they were open seven days a week and later hours and that is my only critique. But we can't have it all. There is a dining area but best works as a grab and go. It is behind a revolving door and somewhat tucked back from the sidewalk but worth it If you are looking for a quick bite near the river walk.

Generous portions and always delicious food. Like the name suggests, they're a lunchtime restaurant but I totally recommend them. The food never fails and you can always expect great service from the team. If you're visiting Detroit for a conference, game, music festival, or the Grand Prix, I suggest paying this place a visit for a good sandwich, soup, or salad.

Service is great. The people who work there are super nice. Highly recommend their sandwiches and soups! The prices are fair.

Don't listen to the negative reviews. This place is the bomb. Get the atomic turkey with a creamy garlic parm soup. it's amazing.

The classic sandwich is huge! Glad I didn't get the whole sandwich. The soup bowl and sandwich combo is only 10.99. Ton of food for a good price. The Turkey Reuben is very good. Tons of Turkey. I'm not impressed with the chicken pot pie soup. Flavor was good but there's not much in it. Just a lot of thick chicken broth. Almost like cream of chicken with an extremely underwhelming amount of chicken, peas and carrots. No potatoes. I LOVE the pasta salad. Overall like this place and will go back.
