Mama's Restaurant is a low-key, cozy spot that serves a lot of food for a reasonable price. The diner atmosphere has a nostalgic feel, reminiscent of simpler times. The service is great, with friendly and welcoming waitresses. The food is consistently delicious, with popular items including skillets, waffles, eggs, breakfast meats, and Texas toast. This restaurant has a large and varied menu with lots of breakfast and lunch offerings. Customers were especially pleased to see heart smart items. The Turkey Sausage plate with extra crispy hash-browns was cooked perfectly. Portions are generous and the food tasted great. The waitstaff was attentive and pleasant. Mama's is a large, dine-in restaurant and was bustling during a mid-day, mid-week lunch. There was plenty of waitstaff to help with everyone. Waitresses were extremely pleasant. The vibe of Mama's was enjoyable. The Salmon Patty breakfast was perhaps the best in the area, and certainly the best value. The Salmon Patties were very good and not salty. They used high quality ingredients. Grits were buttery and not lumpy. After eating, customers were stuffed. Food and service is exceptional. Parking is available on either side of the building, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. The parking lot fills up quickly for the popular breakfast hours.
