Sorry but this place has lost there spark the food isn't as good as it used to be and management seems to be money hungry because no way my salmon croquettes were filled with tuna that certainly isn't salmon and the price for a lemonade or apple juice is insane today we noticed the young waitress refilling the cups with a 7$ gallon of motts lemonade and truthfully mamas need to go get some new management cause mama has fell off and the food isn't as good and the prices don't match what there serving

Terrible my husband orders a hamburger breakfast the meat was sour or the grill needs cleaning the portions are very small I loved this place years ago it's nothing like it used to be the food isn't as good and the portions are for kids I recommend the cracked egg at least you get better service and a nice healthy portion and you get what you pay for there food is awesome and the owner isn't skimpy with those orders

Terrible my omelet was paper flat and it was a corned beef omelet it only came with pancakes or a choice of hash browns the service is good but there food us trash it used to be filling and good now it's skimpy and costly I won't recommend or bring my family back the Crack egg on 8 mile is better sorry but this place is all hype

We're like always heard about this place.It's and I heard a good things, but I just was going up there this day meeting.My family, they were already up there.So I came up there with my little baby girl To finally check this place out and get something to eat. But as soon as I got in there and I sat down at a table that was just free. Nobody was in's waiting in a line or anythone of the waitresses. I wish I could call her name. Cause I'll call her out by name. But she's like a little petite. Brown skin, the woman and she comes up to the table and starts talking to me about my family's table, saying that they have their separate waitress and all of that, which I'm lost because I have nothing to do with what they order. And I'm trying to order my own stuff. But for me and my baby so then she went somewhere and came back and didn't. She says she had people that needed the table. And I had to get app so I got up with my baby and we just left so service was not great at all. My first time coming experience was terrible and it's not everybody probably in the places. Probably good for some reason. I just got the worst person in there. For no reason out the blue. I couldn't even place a order which is crazy. And another waitress tried to call me back after we left out and found a table. But at this point I right meant to space to go back and deal with rude. People like that. So yeah, that's it for me. I guess I will never. Try that place still because not a good first impression or experience

LONG BUT WORTH IT READ: In recent years, Mamas has gone from being a quick, fun, upbeat & clean establishment to dirty, slow and terribly managed. While the cooks are severely overwhelmed with orders, 3rd parties like DD are not notified of truth (in preparation of order). Drivers are expected to wait like customers and are not advised proper info -example: staffers advised my Dasher that the order wasnt even cooked after waiting over 15-20 mins just to speak to someone at Mamas.. they mustve found the order and communicated LAST min to my Dasher that the order was ready when I was JUST about to cancel due to Service from Mamas!! Thank goodness the Dasher has excellent communication and still delivered my order. Don't expect an easy process from Mamas smh.
Another instance was 2-4 months ago I attempted to bring my family in for a meal (their first time, my umpteenth). We weren’t acknowledged until standing in the packed restaurant 20 minutes with waitress staff and bussers wizzing by. Once we noticed a table vacant, it just needed cleaning—the table was cleared and we were able to be seated, AFTER advising the waitress we needed the crumbs from the last guests removed. Once completed (rushed and missed areas), we utilized the napkins to clean the damp table. We weren’t offered menus nor a drink or apology for the long wait. We sat at the table for a second 20-25 minutes with no service and at that point- I made the executive decision to leave. No establishment can be too busy to avoid treating any patron with respect. The service industry is hard- it’s understandable; but professionalism should Not be. You’ve been forewarned… pack patience and don’t go too hungry… you may have to depart and head down the street to Cracked Egg of Harper Woods… where it’s a better experience 🤷🏾♀️

Ordered door dash. It was cold but 40 seconds or so in the micro is fine but... The sausage links were overcooked and crunchy dry on the ends. Whoever cooked the hash browns only cooked on one side and plopped into the tray showing the cooked side and undercooked at the bottom. Eggs were scrambled and good. I don't think I will choose Mommas again...nope.

Walked in all tables was occupied with the exception of 2 tabled that looked like they needed clean so my family of 5 choice a table and asked 1 of the 4 waitresses who was behind the counter to clean the table the waitress said yes in a minute we are short handed, she came from behind the counter and and turned around and went back behind the counter said something to another waitresses and cashed out some customers who got up to pay for their meals, from a customer view 1 of the 4 waitresses who's saw us coming through the door could of quickly wipe the table but none of the waitresses seem like they wanted to we waited almost 10 minutes than left we eat there often dine in and take out very disappointed at the customer service
This is a beautiful restaurant. Service was great, very clean. Oh, I had the best birthday there.
