What a fantastic place great little burger very unique. OWNER came out and spoke with me. It’s nice to have personal service these days. It’s a few and far between the waitress was fantastic.

A small burger place that has been in business for years. Unique burgers, long rectangle burgers served on a hotdog bun. Food came quick and hot. Waitress was friendly, and the setting was clean.

Go hear all the time for breakfast absolutely love it real fried potatoes! Real friendly staff great service excellent people!!

The world needs more places like this. The hot dog shaped, steamed burger in a hot dog bun seems odd, but it totally works. The coney sauce is sweet and has a unique taste.

Food is tasty ? also low prices! Sad that they closed ? early, but I understand!

Whats not to love? This is the home of the original Marcus burger. It's historic, it's independently owned, and okay it's in an industrial area. I checked the map, and noticed that Detroit is (still)an industrial town, so "par for the course".The Marcus burger is the item to get. The soup is good too. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I went on a Saturday. They might get a lunch crowd on weekdays from local businesses. IDK.Its worth visiting at least once, just so you can say you had a real Marcus burger. If you like 'em, you'll go back.
