This prohibition bar is a bit worn and older in the tooth, but it's amazing. The bartenders Coach, Kimberly, Kristina, Red and the others each have different personalities that make this place welcoming to everyone. Keep up the great job.
Love the hot bartender 😉
Fun times going there with friends . I wish it would stay open until 2a during the week. I get it, but for Jeff Chalmers crew, it would be nice to have our neighborhood bar stay open without having to go to Grosse Pointe bars
This place has the trashiest staff & customers. The building itself is not up to code and the beer they serve literally smells of mold.

This place is pretty sketchy, with a messy patio area and some really rundown conditions. Surprisingly, they haven't faced any official warnings despite the mess and even an infestation of possums and rats in their patio area at the back.If you're considering a visit, it's better to go with a group, especially if you're Black and not keen on dealing with a predominantly white crowd. The owner (Ted Kapuscinski) has made racist comments about Black people, and even the bartender's (her) son, who's a regular there (and under age), shares similar racist views.Sure, if you're okay with mingling with the regulars and don't mind the presence of drugs, STDs, cheap drinks (??), and boot licking Black people, you might find something appealing here. But honestly, given the atmosphere and the people involved, I wouldn't recommend it. This dive bar is in pretty bad shape and might not be worth your time or money. Stay cautious!
Finally made the stop in, glad we did! Cold beer and friendly staff!
