Honestly hands down still one of the best coneys. Haven’t been here in over 10years. Use to come here with my dad and wanted to take my nephew out to a good ole breakfast (these modern day places suck over priced and under seasoned) we loved it. Food was hot and delicious patrons were hilarious and joyful that came in . And most importantly it didn’t break the bank. Some things are just better with simplicity and good food is one of them. Will def be coming back more often.
I was waiting on the extremely late bus, so I stopped in to grab a cup of soup since I was really cold. They had chicken gumbo, which I had to think on for a moment because a lot of places I don't like it from. I absolutely loved it. It was 7pm and it was still very very hot. I really didn't need the crackers it was hearty enough on it's own. Extremely friendly staff. Will be back to try more 🥰
I drove past the place one day while working and found myself looking for a place for breakfast my last day in town and decided to take a chance.
It was well worth the trip.
I was very hungry and was quickly filled by the Western Omelet and hash browns with toast. I was unable to finish the plate because the omelet took up half the plate (absolutely stuffed with ham, onion, and peppers- all I could have asked for was a little more cheese)...
