This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Detroit 10/10 never disappoints me . The red snapper is my absolute favorite , so flavorful and fresh . The jollof rice is amazing as well . If you haven’t been here yet you are missing out on some good eating . The staff is friendly every time I go and the wait time isn’t long at all . I also had the half chicken which is also delicious as well , don’t forget to grab a ginger juice to go with your meal . You will thank me later . Trust me you’re going to go back every time , I drive from Taylor to go here it’s worth the drive . Your welcome 😋

I went out with a few people from a dance team last night. The food is delicious!!!! I mean DELICIOUS!!! The restaraunt is a true don’t judge a book by his cover. No 5 stars restaurant can come close to taste of it. This is upscale!

Shit was dreadful spent close to $50 on some oily food. Only reason I went because I seen this on TikTok.

Restaurantji Recommends
My first time yesterday. I absolutely love the jollof rice as it reminds me of a really good fried rice. Wasn’t too salty or anything. Close to perfect.
The fataya if that’s the name was an easy 10/10. Spice was perfect and the little onion sauce that came with it was on point.
The grilled red snapper however was my main target as it is one of my favorite fish. I don’t think it was grilled but fried then prolly put on flame. Idk but didn’t seemed or tasted grill to me. The snapper was also a bit over cooked so a little too dry for me. The seasoning was a little too salty but the sauce did its thing.
I really love this food and will be back. Hopefully next time I can request my snapper to be cooked less and less salt and would’ve been perfect.
