It was not the best time to visit as the menu was limited due to HVAC issues. The pizza was ok and the beer was cold. I may try again next time at DTW.

I love this place but when I put in an order online for a certain time and still have to wait 15 mins after my time requested almost had me late to work. Also, I placed another order online and was told I needed to pay then realized I paid online.

At first the menu looks promising, but after talking with our waitress (super friendly and helpful), she told me that the falafel has feta cheese IN it. I ended up with the beyond burger (no brioche bun, swap for lettuce wrap or pita wrap) and it was undercooked. Just disappointed 🤷♀️
Chicken shawarma plate was everything I wanted and more. Does not deserve such a low rating here. Best spot in the airport

Anytime I’m between flights I make it a point to get the falafel meal. I haven’t had anything else yet but that falafel is pretty great.
How you gonna put a breakfast sandwich on a dry hamburger bun and charge that much for it.
exquisite place to enjoy with the family.

Damn good
Came to dine in waited to be seated 20 minutes, asked a serve ( Erica) she had a very nasty attitude when seated me she waved me over and said you can sit over there. I ordered she snatched the menu off the table. Horrible service never will I revisit this restaurant ??????
As far as airport food goes, I was happy. Ordered a burger that came out cooked perfectly. Service was attentive, and my companions were very happy with their salads.

Ask for ciabatta bun to make this vegan. $18.50 before tax and comes with fries. Located across gate A53 Updated from previous review on 2023-01-09
Middle Eastern restaurants inside the secure area of an airport were almost unheard of until fairly recently. Airport food, by definition, is less than great and the Mesiterranean Grill is no different. The falafel was dry and overfried, the shawarma looked and tasted as if prepared earlier then microwaved, and the vegetables in the salad most likely would not be served at a restaurant outside the airport. The long bar is where things are at. Good selection of drinks and a pleasant atmosphere.

Vegetarian options: Salads and falafel.
Parking: In the airport, past security. Parking is neither an issue nor an option.

Disgusting! Don’t call it a chicken shawarma if you serve fatty dark chicken pieces on a pita with garlic & no toppings. You forgot the pickles! Total regret wasting $18 on 2 bites.
First of all, Mezza has great employees. What scared the living h out of me was when they said hummus wasn’t vegan. Another thing, one of their 3 vegan options was sold out. The problem here: the fact there is only 3 vegan options. An idea that I have is simple: create vegan gyros.
