The pizza is AMAZING! I think I can easily say this is the best Detroit style pizza I have ever had. I first discovered them at pop up they had near Campus Martius, but finally got to go to their new home on Holden. The interior is pretty small, so not best for big groups but a date night or for a party of two is just fine. I wish it was closer to me so I could get take out. We got the Packard Pepperoni and the Mclovin pizza. Both were excellent, I loved the origniality of the Mclovin which was a nod to like a big mac. Anytime I can go again, I definitely will be. Check out this gem if you want to really know what Detroit style pizza is like.

Lunch at Michigan & Trumbull was fantastic! The Dill Pickle Pizza special was delicious. Hunter provided excellent service, and Shane cooked our pizza perfectly. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant had a great vibe. Definitely the best pizza in Detroit! We'll be back!

We visited Michigan and Trumbull on a Saturday afternoon, and they were sold out and said no Pizzas. We came back again on Sunday to get the flavor of Detroit style pizza. They didn't disappoint, and the Pizza was served perfect crispy, great sauce and cheese. The staff is friendly and helpful. this time, I called them ahead to ensure they carry pizza lol...
There are indoor and outdoor dining spots. The parking situation is tricky where you can park roadside or lot across them.
Pizza is definitely outstanding and must be tried.

Whoever said that money can’t buy happiness obviously never got a pizza from Michigan and Trumbull. Hands down the best Detroit style pizza I’ve ever had. They must put crack in the sauce, because it’s addictively good. Come early on weekends, because they sell out fast.

I ordered the half Buffalo Chicken and half Packard Pepperoni and both was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this place. The service was outstanding, the waiter is very knowledgeable about the entire menu and the atmosphere is very comfortable. A must have and definitely if you’re visiting like I am from New Jersey. This pizza was soooo good! The crust was thick and flavorful. The toppings were delicious. The customer service was great. I think this restaurant a great choice in the Detroit area.
