I stopped in to try the Woodward and the Farnsworth Funghi. I was able to split the pizza and do just that! The cashier was great! This pizza is delicious!!! I stopped in at lunchtime, so it was a 45 minute wait- and totally worth it!! It's a casual spot with many options & many customers. There's a small lot and street parking.

Delicious fries and love that I can customize my own gluten free dairy free pizza. It's surprisingly fluffy/airy! The boy got the pepperoni pizza which wasn't to my taste. Not a fan of honey on pizza but he liked it!It was our first taste of Detroit style pizza (other than Jet's) so we're happy.

far and away the best pizza I had while in Detroit. Seriously it was amazing. It was a group of 4 of us and we went to several pizza places while in town and everyone agreed this was the best.

Delightful and quick service. The servers were really kind and happy. The salad was Delicious!!!! I have eaten the entire thing! I couldn't ask for anything yummier. The fried sides were great! The roasted was yummy as well, especially the charred broccolini. The pizza could have been a little better. In short, delicious food mixed with amazing service and hospitality!

I'm sad to see this is temp closed and I hope they reopen! We finally got to visit this spot a few weeks ago and try the amazing food. The wings were great and the waffle fries. The ranch was amazing though. I don't remember the twist they put on it but we couldn't get enough! We tried two different pizzas and devoured both of them! This is a great spot that gives back to the community they are in as well. The place inside isn't the smallest but it's def small. They have drinks so that is a plus. The ambiance is well lit and they have tables to accommodate larger parties. The service was great the waitress was friendly and helpful in ordering food. Def a spot I hope to eat from again!

5/5 the service was enjoyable, the young lady who opens on WednesdayProvided us the best service, food was served hot and flavorful. I got the Detroit style pan which I enjoyed the crust and shareable teader fries

Overall a bit disappointed. By the reviews I was expecting to be knocked off my feet.Still good pizza. Good texture around the crust. Fresh ingredients. Not greasy.Biggest gripe is the sauce was a bit bland. Definitely under seasoned but was also lacking any zip. The Packard Pepperoni comes with some honey on it which I feel would have been great if there was some acidity to counterbalance the sweetness. Instead it was more of a 1 note flavor throughout. All that said my pizza also looked different from other pictures. Cheese came up halfway to crust top and pizza was like a half inch thick. Not really Detroit style. Automate Trade show is in town so maybe I just caught them on a bad night.Oh and the size is definitely more of a personal pizza (maybe if it was like pictures it wouldn’t be).

Great pizza and antipasto salad. Limited draft beer selection but what they had was nice. Great service. Cool place.

Michigan and Trumbull has been on my list for a LONG time. I was thrilled to finally make it. Tucked away just off Michigan Avenue, right next to the site of old Tiger Stadium, this unassuming pizza spot has possibly the best pie in town. M&T really elevates Detroit style pizza with some newer toppings and twists. Overall, it was truly a top notch experience. My classic Pepperoni and Mushroom could hold its own against any of the classic pizza spots.I was bummed to hear that they're moving to a new location due to the recent real estate price increases in Corktown. Only a couple of weeks left in this location. They said they're going to be doing a pop-up in Ferndale in between the closing of this location and the opening of the mew one. I can't wait to check both the pop up amd the new place out!

We tried both their red and white variations and so delicious!!! White was their traditional Detroit style, and the red was a special New York style thin crust that was kod friendly. Service was very fast and friendly.

This place is so good! We started with the Antipasto salad. It was delicious and big enough to share. We also had the teader fries, which had a bbq seasoning on them and came with a cilantro ranch to dip them in. Also, a large portion. Then we had the Packard pizza. After eating the salad and fries, this was the perfect size to share. The best pizza we have had in a while. I wished we lived closer. This would definitely be my go-to pizza place. We came in on a Saturday around 2 and were seated immediately. The staff was friendly and attentive and made great recommendations. I didn't think to get pics before we started eating. The salad came out looking like something off the food network. Definitely recommend.

Captains log: Day 3724At long last my quest to discover the greatest pizza in the galaxy has come to an end. Michigan & Trumble has flavor so good you'll be blasted outside of this dimension. Your flavor receptors will reach maximum orgastic stimulation; set taste buds to "drool"!For real though, this is the best pizza I've ever had. The people running the joint were kind and down to earth. Pizza did take some time to come out, but you don't rush perfection. We had one red sauce (Packard Pepperoni) and one white (The Woodward White) - Both SO GOOD. I almost cried eating this knowing all the wasted years of my life without this pizza in it. Gourmet twists make this pizza not just phenomenally delicious but original as well, like hot honey on the Packard and lemon zest on the Woodward. If you made it this far into the review, here's my final tip; try the Cilantro Ranch (if you're into that) on your pizza. They also sell it by the bottle.

Unassuming, engaging and very friendly people. I'm traveling through and wanted to try Detroit style pizza. I had the 'Long Driver Home' which was one of the best pizza's I've ever had. And I've had many. They took their time with it with very good quality ingredients. You can tell the level of care met the level of satisfaction. +$3 drafts. Must come back with co-workers and friends.Parking: Easy street parking.

I can't say enough good things about this spot. If you're looking for consistently amazing Detroit style pizza, Michigan & Trumbull is your place! And not just Detroit style because now they offer hand tossed pies as well! The husband and wife team, Nate and Kristen, kill it when it comes to dishing out mouth watering food with great service. Family owned, and they know how to run a successful business. They just get it!Michigan & Trumbull offer an array of signature red sauce and white sauce pizzas to choose from. You can also create your own pizza. They also offer vegan, vegetarian, gluten free options and a handful of sides and salads that are pretty unique for a pizza place. Roasted carrots, broccolini, fresno poppers, arugula salad. You have to try the cilantro ranch! They sell it by the bottle (or get a side if you don't want to commit), and it's amazing! You can also get the lemon vinaigrette by the bottle, haute honey, and the BBQ chip seasoning which is on the teader fries (yummy waffle fries). You can also get half and half pizzas, great if you can't decide and want to try a couple different pies. My favorites are the Farnsworth Funghi and Woodward White (yes, all the pies are names after Detroit streets, so cool)! Each month, they pick a business they want to support and 25% of the sales are donated back to the business, it's called the Good Corner. They feature one specialty pizza and usually a beer/cocktail drink and 25% of those sales are donated. I love business that give back to the community. Oh, did I mention they serve beer, cider, and canned cocktails?! Read more reviews on the websitethebite2night.com
