If you’re looking for a culinary experience in Detroit, Midnight Temple is the place to be! From the moment you walk in, the vibrant ambiance sets the tone for a magical evening. Loved the traditional Indian elements, creating an atmosphere that’s both warm and lively.

The food? Absolutely divine! The tikka masala, dhal makhani and biryani are a must try. Don’t skip the garlic naan, it’s the perfect complement to every bite.

Looking forward to coming back and trying more things from the menu :)

The website is 100% right - hidden gem⭐️
The samosas are bangin. Menu has great options for people with all dietary restrictions - with the perfect flavor!

Oh not to mention this place is GORGEOUS! Great vibe for dinner with friends, date night, or family.

Cool place in eastern market. Service was horrible. They really need to work on not forgetting to check on customers, and not mixing up orders.

Food is not bad. Have had much better Indian food, but it gets the job done! The only thing was the Panner Saag was extremely salty.

Atmosphere is pretty cool. Overall, decent spot, but wouldn’t come back.

Everything was fantastic! Delicious food, great service, friendly owners and really nice ambience. Finished off dinner with tea & coffee recommended by the owner’s Father which really topped things off well. Looking forward to coming back soon.

A hidden gem in Eastern Market! Stopped through for a drink and late-night food and everything was delicious. The drinks took a while to make and the food came out of order (got our large plate before apps) but once received, it was delicious.

Every time I visit Detroit this place is a must stop for me and my friends! Truly a hidden gem. The vibes are perfect to grab a drink and eat yummy food. Perfectly balanced between laid-back and lively depending on what you’re in the mood for. The interior is so welcoming and comfortable with super cute cultural decorations all over. The music is fantastic!! I have such an amazing time every time I go and not to mention the staff is so friendly and accommodating.
I can’t recommend it enough!

Ordered masala chai, saffron lemonade, pani puri and an order of the Hakka noodles to share.

The lemonade was shaken and could have been colder. Definitely could taste the saffron but felt it was a little too overpowering.

Was happy to find out that the chicken is halal. Hakka noodles were on the drier side which I prefer. We do enjoy spicy food but felt our decision to go for medium was spicy enough!

Very carefully curated space, including the thoughtful selection of music and old Bollywood movies playing on the tv that made our experience great.

Only negative was the waiter collecting our payment who held the credit card machine in his hand while I paid, making it awkward when I was trying to figure out how to add the tip on the machine. Definitely something that could be improved on!

Overall I would say food is decent and the ambiance is fantastic. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends as an experience.
