Extremely quick and efficient top tier breakfast for an actual fair price. Most of the breakfast spots in Detroit are way too overpriced and way too slow. Zef's is usually full on weekends but definitely moves much faster than many other brunch spots.
Restaurant inside clean, waitstaff pleasant. Ordered chilli cheese fries and coney dog. Food delicious. More expensive than typical coney island. Fee charged when using credit. Tried it once, great. Not worth a repeat unless it presents as a convenience.
Zefs was one of the highlights of my weekend trip to Detroit. It's located in the middle of busy streets and high rises, but the second you step inside their door you it's like you take a trip back to Mayberry. Their food was delicious, with generous portions and affordable prices, and the service was excellent as well.
