Went here last weekend and loved it. Excellent and I mean excellent service from our female server on Saturday. Seated right away. Around $60 for two meals and an app, two drinks per. Chicken wings were great, not what you’d normally think with wings, but awesome! Would go back

What a wonderful place to sit down inside or out for a great pizza! The crust is so good! That's what makes a good pizza the crust! Then, a cold beer made out of their own brewery!! Love it there, not close to the noise or street! You can actually hear and talk! Great place to sit down and relax! Love this place will be back many more times! Parking is the biggest problem...$10 bucks to park! That's from the people that owned the traffic jam.. which they haven't done one thing..I love, lovelove the City brewery! And they do have 4 or 5 parking spots! Everyone is so nice there! Good Greek Salad too! Try it you'll love it!

This is one of our favorite spots in the city. It’s so cozy and welcoming. They play Motown music which helps add to the warm atmosphere. The service is always great/ They have THE BEST wood fired pizzas, their dough is on point and they have every topping you can imagine- and they don’t skimp! Their beer is delicious and their tasting portions are generous. We had a chorizo pizza that was on special and it was super flavorful. Love this spot.

A Cozy Gem in CanfieldNestled just a short distance from the bustling heart of the city, Motor City Brewing Company stands as a quaint yet inviting retreat for beer aficionados and casual drinkers alike. The ambiance of this small establishment exudes warmth and simplicity, creating a perfect backdrop for their main attraction: an array of house-brewed beers. The selection, while not extensive, is thoughtfully curated, offering a taste for every palate. Each beer we sampled resonated with quality and craft, leaving a lasting impression of their brewing prowess. But it's not just about the beer here. The menu, though limited, encompasses the essence of classic bar food with a special nod to their freshly baked pizzas. The pizzas, a standout choice, are prepared right before your eyes in an open pizza oven, adding an authentic touch to the experience. What truly ties the whole experience together is the staff. Their friendliness and attentiveness add a layer of warmth to the establishment, making you feel right at home.In summary, Motor City Brewing Company is a delightful spot that marries the simplicity of a good brew with the comfort of classic eats, all wrapped up in an atmosphere that's as welcoming as it is.

Very nice, the German Bock was excellent, albeit served on the colder side. The chili was very good, as was the Munchen Dunkel.

Nice brewery close to Wayne State down on Canfield... Laid-back atmosphere, some nice items on the menu (we loved the pretzel bites) and - most importantly - good and handmade beer. I wish the place would have been there when I attended WSU back in 2000/2001 - would have a been a go to place for me....

I’m not a beer drinker but the rest of our group was. My guy had the best Witt beer he’s ever had. The pizza was fantastic. Awesome crust, generous toppings. The side salad was amazing too with fresh mozzarella shavings and delicious grape tomatoes. I had potato soup with leeks and dill which was delicious too. Small dining and bar area but lots of character and wonderful staff. Highly recommend.

Tucked away off the beaten path in Detroit lies Motor City Brewing Works—a vibrant hidden gem that feels like your neighbor's cozy basement rec room where the drinks flow freely and the tunes never stop. As soon as I entered the colorful space adorned in classic rock memorabilia, I sensed the communal vibe from the mix of regulars belting Journey at the bar.I settled into a vinyl booth with a couple locally-brewed hard ciders in hand as “Sweet Home Alabama” played faintly over the speakers, setting the mood perfectly for getting into the spirit of Motor City. While I sipped, I dove into the menu of brick-oven fired pizzas which came highly recommended. The generously loaded options didn’t disappoint, But the true star that didn’t disappoint bar was the hot crab and Michigan Cidar paired with buttery toasted pita points.Between the hidden location, handcrafted beers flowing, sing-along oldies soundtrack, and delicious grub, Motor City Brewing Works captures a distinctly Detroit vibe." I’ll definitely be making the trek back to get my fill of Motor City cheer and some of the best pizza I’ve tasted in the D!

This is my favorite neighborhood spot in Midtown. Great vibe, love the patio, service is always amazing (especially Tara!), and the pizza/beer is oh so delicious! So grateful to have this gem in our community!

Great brewery in midtown. Our group grabbed a table on the back patio on a sunny day. They have a good variety as well as a cider, a red, and a white wine. Their pizza is also great, they do a small/personal size and have a good variety. You order at the counter to the friendly staff, they give you a table number, and then they bring it over to you. All of the pizza we tried was better than average. Laid back atmosphere, good staff, and a good experience.

I love their pizza and artichoke dip (super spicy). We drive about 45 minutes just to come get this deliciousness! They brew their own beer and cream soda (when available). I think they haven't been brewing the soda lately because they've been out the last two times we came, but my kid is addicted to the cream soda! The staff are always welcoming. This is a wheelchair accessible restaurant, big bathrooms and one parking spot. There's no way to get up to the roof unless you can trek it but there's always fun in the main dining room or outside in the tents.
