Simple, authentic dining experience. Meats and sauces are wonderful, and the pasta was fresh and homemade. Mumma sells carryout from the front door. Let them know you're coming for full service in the small, cozy dining room off the side door.

We went to Mumma Maria's for our a celebration for Christmas-which was awesome that they were decorated for Christmas -very festive.. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The restaurant was very quaint and the food was excellent! We tried each others selections and we loved everything. We are definitely are coming back! We made a reservation on Open Table and they were ready for us when we got there.

Worst meatballs ever eaten! I'm starting to wonder if they were even meat. thank goodness for the dog that laid by my feet and gave me the eye. Brown bag at the meldrum soup kitchen would have been better! Seems to be lots of paid reviews for this place!

Our group of 7 had a wonderful dining experience on Sunday, Dec 10, 2023 at 1200. Our greeter and server were very friendly and helpful. The cheesy bread appetizer was out of this world. The Mr. G.'s spaghetti and meatballs and chicken Parmesan meals were delish and huge portions. The atmosphere was festive casual, with Christmas lights above us and poinsettias on each table. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

Don’t bother with takeout. Overpriced, small portions, globulous. Our food had been siting in the containers for a while and was unappetizing. Sausage that came with our linguine was cold, but decent - I suspect because they got it at marrow or Trader Joe’s.

They have gluten free pasta for those with. Gluten allergies. The meatballs are excellent. My son said the pulled pork is very good.We bought extra meatballs to make lunches. Amazing service and food for a hidden gem. Highly recommend you visit.

This place is TOP NOTCH. If you want real authentic Italian food that taste like it came right out of your family's kitchen then this is your spot. I moved here from NY and before finding this place nothing compared to back home. Not to mention the gentleman that seats you and takes care of you is very welcoming and attentive.

The absolute best Italian food we've had so far in the US. I didn't realize a simple marinara sauce could be THAT delicious. My partner and I were mind blown. My partner got the meatballs. I love that they have a plant based option (mushroom ravioli). I will for sure come back next time I visit Michigan

The service is very slow and disorganized. Food doesn't come out in any rational order. Like our salad came out well after our entrees and we didn't want them anymore. It wasn't very busy with clientele, but still the food took a really long time to come out, and my mom's entree was cold, she asked for it to be hotter and they microwaved it so it was scalding. They've been open almost 3 years and it'd be better if they could figure out their dining service, otherwise they should just stick to carryout. Not worth eating in.
