Wow. What a great brewery! A very eclectic choice of beers that are not overpriced. This is a hidden gem of the breweries in Detroit. Can't wait for the weather to be nicer so I can sit on the patio. The beertender was fantastic and she deserves a 10

The beer was top notch, we had the Belgian dark. The bartender was also very personable and knowledgeable of the beers.

Great open air brewery with tasty beers. Loved the space and friendly staff and it was so relaxing to sit outside and enjoy our beer!

Interesting name and theme for a brewery. But it is at 666 Seldon so there's that. You can read more about The Nain Rouge legend that is part of the contemporary Detroit culture on Wikipedia that involves a festival and costume parade and a statue but this review is more about the brewery than the slightly unsettling marketing strategy backstory. You can read about if you are into that stuff. I'm not but I was curious about why so many devils. I LOVE themed breweries and think they're fun when the theme is carried all thru it...even in the restrooms...but this theme is almost too weird for me. Well... maybe not. I'll drink good beer anywhere and their beer was pretty darn good I'll say. My favorite was the Boppin' Red IPA. Definitely had a carmel and hoppy taste. Smelled great. Outstanding taste. Of the 4 we tasted on our flight that one really stood out. It has a small bar top (with no purse hooks or charging cables under it) with a gorgeous piece of live edge wood highly glossed out arching creatively across part of it. It's located on a lovely and well cared for street with classy outdoor seating. I'd definitely go back. (By the way....the one restroom directly across from the brewing tanks is boring AF. No devils in there.) Clean though. That's always important.

Been here with friends a few times and the beers have been great every time not matter what I try. With Founders gone, this place is another great alternative. The food from their parent restaurant Smith and Co is also great.

1st time stopping in here. Small brewery, but had like 12 varieties on tap to try. I had the Nain farmhouse and the Slaap Lekker. Both were really good.

We love them! Never had a beer I didn't like here. Service is fantastic, quick and friendly. Good and civil crowd. Food is solid!

Cute place! You should know this is a small place inside though so just keep that in mind when with larger groups. But the beer is fantastic and the bartender was a nice guy. I would definitely recommend and I plan on coming back!

Best outdoor brewery in Detroit.

Everything about Nain is impressive. Location, aesthetics, the address, the branding, the staff. Unfortunately, the beer is mediocre. D.A.P. is one of their Flagship Pilsners and it is great. The rest lack balance with such overpowering bitterness it was difficult to appreciate other profiles in each beer. Many beers had that diacetyl taste/reaction which left an unpleasant taste on the end.

I have been wanting to come here since the day they announced they were opening! Today was the day. I needed this tagabrew. The entrance is a bit difficult to find but I was directed. The Barcade is in the front of the building so I was a bit confused. I loved the atmosphere there as well as the company! The beer tender was so friendly and helpful! Their beers were delicious! I ordered food from Smith and Company next door and they delivered it right to me! (One of the best burgers I have ever had!). I finished my beer and was off to the Masonic Temple for a concert. I recommend everyone check it out. Super fun!
