This gem of a food trailer has some of the best vegan and vegetarian fresh made dishes I have tasted.
Pictures here is the yummiest Vegan Lions Mane Brisket Taco with pricklely Pear BBQ Sauce topped with cilantro red onions and pickled red onions!
Prepared with love Chef Rocky
This place is to go for all vegan and vegetarians. I would also recommend meat lovers to try this food truck in Mexican town. We tried all the tacos on their menu. Our favorite were Birria, Brisket and stuffed jalapeno. We also tried their drinks, they were also well made. Loved their vegan duck fries and the street corn as a side.
We were so hungry that we couldn’t get pictures, but promise to click next time.
Also tried their mango and lime sorbet. They were very smooth and not too sweet with a dash of spice topping.
In live the food at this place.. we enjoyed all the delicious vegan food
I was able to try Nepantla at Harvest Fest, and it did not disappoint. The al pastor tacos were so flavorful and the texture was amazing!

Had multiple tacos from here during Harvest Fest, the chef recommended the al pastor with fried avocado… sounded wild to me BUT i could see the enthusiasm from her. I live in detroit and i truly mean it when i say this was the BEST taco i’ve ever had. They were very busy and you could tell they were stressed but still made an enormous effort to accommodate us snd make sure the order was perfect. They deserve all the recognition and i can only hope that my next visits are just as great. 10/10

I lived in Austin for years so I've become a bit of a taco snob, but I was thrilled to crush these when they were set up at Two Birds in Detroit. I will be following this place around so I can fulfill my next fix. After a nice bike ride and a swim, there's nothing better than a taco platter and loaded mock duck fries.
I don't know what happened. The food use to be good. The last few times was disappointing. No longer worth the price.

This establishment refused the service of Police officers. This sort of discrimination cannot be tolerated. Very disheartening.

Food was horrible and they refused to serve DPD officers who were working the pride festival they were serving food at.

The vegan tea tasted like powdered plastic. We left it at the table and couldn’t finish it. Also, we had asked for the order to go but they gave it to us on a plat no big deal. We couldn’t finish everything so I went up to the side of the food truck to ask for a box but before I could even ask the chef looked at me, shook her head, and immediately just shooed me away. I understand you’re busy but you didn’t even let me ask for a simple box.She was so dismissive without even knowing why I approached her. Unfortunately, this was a huge turn off for me and my family visiting from New York. I get being a chef is stressful, but you’re in the hospitality business and should not shoo away customers before they can even ask for a simple request. This attitude really left a sour taste in my mouth and will not be returning.
12 out of 10, this is hands down the best food in the land, authentic tacos but plant based, these unpretentious vegan tacos go the hardest and I actually think about them when i wake up sometimes. Chef Rocky is a magician. Huge fan, only hoping for the best for their establishment. My personal faves are cheesy jalapeño chorizo taco, “fish” taco, and fried avocado taco. All the sauces slap. We finally just had the “duck” fries and they were insanely delicious as well. I’ll stop, but do yourself a favor and hit up Nepantla

These tacos are a delicious art. The mushrooms were fresh and so tasty. Being celiac, extra care was taken on the clean side of the grill. 10 stars ⭐️
Hands down, my absolute favorite vegan spot in metro Detroit. Each menu item is thoughtfully curated and insanely fresh. I love their lavender lemonade and fish tacos.
