Great Caribbean cuisine you will not find elsewhere, wonderful owner, staff, and atmosphere. I wish I could give it ten stars. I was taken aback at the extremely low prices! This place is literally NEVER open. I've been trying to order for months and it's always closed, an event so closed, closed a month at a time, closed for the kitchen issues. Like just get a food truck or something because this is insane! I've heard good reviews about the food though, just never got to experience.

LOVE their hot sauce. It’s a super spicy vinegar-based pepper sauce that works with lots of foods! I had it for breakfast on my eggs and it was awesome!

The Oxtail, Curry Chicken, and Jerk Chicken are all great. You will not be disappointed. Oxtail tacos appetizer with their special sauce is out of this world, it melts in your mouth!

Second time was a hit! Love, love, love the food and atmosphere. I had the curry goat and it was tasty. The waiter even brought a complimentary side of mac n cheese with plantain’s for our infant. Although our baby is still on puree food, I must say I enjoyed the mac n cheese!

Truly a damond in the rough. Great food with even greater service. And the owner is the greatest. He makes ya feel at home though it is your first time & everyone there treats ya like family. Will be making this a regular stop when needing a Caribbean getaway!

If I could give the owner/cook a zero rating I WOULD. Our waitress Delia was AMAZING. We ordered 3 orders of oxtail dinners and 2 of them were tender and falling off the bone whereas the 3rd oxtail dinner was so tough! We also ordered 4 orders of shrimp fritters that tasted HORRIBLE!!! Therefore we wanted to send the oxtail back to get new ones and change the orders of the shrimp fritters to something of our liking. We were told by our waitress that the owner would come out to speak with us about the disappoint. She later came back out almost in tears saying that the owner will not allow us to change any of our order, that we had to pay regardless if we ate the food or not (which we didn't eat it). We let her know it was not her fault at all but that we demanded the owner to come talk with us because we have NEVER been to a restaurant that we couldn't exchange the food if we didn't like it. He came out with such a NASTY attitude saying that it's stated in the menu that we have to pay for whatever we eat. Yes, that was stated but it DID NOT state that we could not exchange the food. He continuously was going back and forth with a short fused attitude to anything we suggested to change about our bill. So we had to pay for a bill of food that we NEVER even ate. WE WILL NEVER RETURN BACK TO THIS PLACE and we will steer every single person we know not to go to this establishment.

Chef Lester knows what he is doing here. Have never had anything bad from here!! They started doing their own hot sauce too which is amazing. Get the chef special! Super friendly staff, great place to eat! Just pay attention to the hours so you ensure they are open!

Once we found out about this location, my fiancé (who is Trinidadian) and I rushed over here for a late dinner. The food, music, and vibe was fantastic. We got to meet the owner and he clearly puts his all into his restaurant. That said, we did come late and the service was on the slower side but the food made up for it.The doubles are amazing. I have some dietary restrictions right now and they worked around that to provide me a great experience. We’ll be coming back for sure.
