This place was great. Probably the best meal I've had in a long time-service and food quality wise. Came to celebrate a birthday during a weeknight. Not too busy. A nice modern ambiance that still has some old styles to it including artwork. Open kitchen concept where you can see the prep work for your meal. Our table had the prime rib burgers and steak and frites. The burger was one of the best tasting burgers I have had in a long time and the steak was so tender!! Service was great, and although Olin has pricier items the portion sizes you get match the value. I would highly recommend this spot for date nights, double dates, post work drinks, and smaller celebrations!

Food was top tier look good and tasted better Our service felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Our waiter made sure we were taken care of the whole time we were there! Can't say enough about that. The outside and inside of the restaurant was a feel like you were somewhere else. Would highly recommended

From my favorite to ...... Olin was my dine in choice in Detroit from the beginning. Still ambiance and service are really good. Our waitress was attentive and very professional. When it came to food- I had such disappointment for a second time . We ordered a lot, and mushroom pâté and potatoes bravado were superb, however, tomatoes bisque was not edible at all. Too sweet, and overloaded with smoked paprika , no salt added and powered texture- you need to work hard to achieve such a result! Now paella, it was a very beautiful dish, but it was soooo dry, to the crunchy point. We could not eat it, wasted $75 for that dish. Burgers were ok, just ok ( this was the only place were I loved to eat burger). Rabbit gnocchi were tasty. Drinks were awful!! How do you ruin espresso martini ??? My daughter 's drink was not good either. Anyway, three stars this is all it deserves now, and only because our waitress , mushroom pâté and potatoes bravas, otherwise I will wait before I go back.

Great place for our brunch. Drinks were very good and so was the food. We had a 3 year old with us and the menu had some tasty things for her, she really enjoyed it!

I cant fully recommend this place based on what I ate because I was on a "eat light" before going where i had to go. The steak smelled awesome though. This place KNOWS though how to make a sidecar. It's my favorite drink and I always test the bartenders wherever I go if they know how to make one. The focaccia bread was very good and the cheese board was a nice light dish to have. It seemed fancy and honestly the majority of the menu wasn't up my alley but to each their own. I'll go again though for the steak.

We sat at the bar and ordered the short rib burger and fries, mushroom pate, and potatoes & artichokes 'bravas'. Everything was delicious and the vibes were great on a late Saturday night. Will definitely be back.

Best smash burger everrrr. The restaraunt was too loud though. Parking is a pain. I'd do it again for the burger

My second dining experience and last. Last night the four of us dined here with the intent to enjoy the seafood paella special along with some other plates. We had reservations & were seated at the very back corner of the restaurant. Our waiter was kind and knew the menu, however he was not attentive and multiple concerns are noted. 1. We split the paella as a appetizer, when it came out and we started to eat it, it was lukewarm. I touched the pan and it wasn't even warm. Tasted OK but wait, where's the scallops? When he came back to check on us 10 minutes or more, he went to the kitchen & brought the MIA scallops with only 1 having a grill mark but at least they were warm. I wish I would have said something when we first ate the dish and it wasn't hot. 2. We ordered the potato & artichoke dish, it was good and hot but not worth ordering again. 3. the bread was not even warm and didn't taste like bread, all we tasted was the honey butter provided with it. 4. the fish dip and pretzel crackers were good, but small amount for the price. 5. I would not recommend this place even though it's a very nice interior and the location is spot on. Also very costly for the portion and most our food was what you could get at a grocery store.

Great food - we highly recommend the tuna tartare and the arancini - and wonderful service. And our cocktails were delightful!
