Virginia was a one woman show - taking & fulfilling orders and working 2 cash registers to make sure that customers could get to their flights on time. And all with a smile. What a gem. Papa Joe's, please treat her well, that kind of attitude is hard to find!

Ordered a $16 Ember’s burger. Lifted bun to add Mayo and called the bartender over and pointed out that there was no meat. We found it on the far side of the bun. No exaggeration, it was two small pieces of meat the size of a chicken nugget. The bartender said embarrassed, sorry, that’s all the give ya. It was maybe 2oz. So, you are basically paying $100/lb for ground meat.first time I ever sent food back. Total rip-off. They should be ashamed.

Papa Joe's is pretty much the only option on the B/C concourse of Detroit's airport with the exception of Chili's and Potbelly. The food is overpriced and just not worth the quality. You can get the much better quality at the same prices over at Plum Market in the A Concourse.

Was happy to see papa Joe’s at the airport while I waited for my flight, but it wasn’t open at 12pm :( I called to see what time they open but the phone number was disconnected. Unfortunate :(

Cup of pineapples...7 dollars! No prices on any items in store. Suspect.

I had an incredible sandwich on focaccia from here. All the food looked great, and I would definitely consider going back during future layovers.

If you ever find yourself with time to spare in the Detroit airport to have - or grab - breakfast, the grilled cheese sandwich served at Embers & Papa Joe's in Terminal B (around B18 - B21) is an excellent choice. Packed with egg, bacon, avocado, and cheese (of course!) is a delicious sandwich that is a generous portion size. Highly recommend! They had other items of interest that I wanted to try (like a Pide) but were only offered during lunch. Hopefully I will be flying again through Detroit to try this place again.

Food was pretty good but came in very small portions. The staff member was very friendly and helpful and quick at checkout. Lots of snack options in addition to the main food items.

I wouldn’t expect such good and fresh healthy food at the airport. But i was surprised. The portion is generous.
