Food was delicious. Only complaint was we subbed one of our sides for another and they charged $2. We thought that was very petty.
Your restaurant was specially chosen to celebrate a special retirement of a dear friend. This was one of the worst dining and food related experiences we have ever had. The food was terrible, all 4 of our meals. Truffle fries and shrimp tacos were delivered cold. When the fries were to be replaced, the plate was removed and the same tacos, now sitting over 15 minutes were returned freezing. The omelette was filled with raw onions, specifically after asking that it didn't contain onions. It was replaced with shrimp tacos with raw onions on top! The two signature salads had COLD tough chicken on top. The bacon was RAW. The rest of the salad was not enjoyed by either of us. The dressing was terrible. I ate very little of my $24 salad. We ordered the burrata to share. We had to ask for plates. The server brought extra few slices of bread, which we appreciated. However, never asked for it, and found a $4 dollar charge on the bill. Charging $22 for a small app and more for bread! Service.... Horrible. The entrees arrived within 5 minutes of the burrata. We had to move our small plates aside to accept the larger plates. Nothing was removed first to make room, so we had to hand over our plates and extra glasses to make room. Water glasses and other beverages were never refilled. Then, a desert was delivered and set on the corner of the table while we were still picking at our meals. Never once were we asked about our meal and no comment was made that all of us left most on our plates. We asked for dessert plates. Never delivered. Two of the entree plates were eventually removed. Two were not. We cleared our own table by putting stacked dirty dishes on the clean table next to us! The manager stood at his podium. The server was a deer in headlights. We walked out with out a good bye or thank you. This was a total waste of money.
Excellent restaurant, service and atmosphere in the center of Detroit. It was a gorgeous day to boot! 😍
When we arrived with a reservation. I was given a table all the way in the back of the restaurant, while many other tables were opened in the front. As if that wasn't discouraging enough, we dealt with the uncomfort of flies during all meal. When I brought this to the waiter's attention he just made a comment as if it was funny. Will I be back? Food was great but not worth eating around flies.
For a high end restaurant I thought the meal was average. My steak was thin for a 12oz. The appetizers were good but felt the prices were a little rich for the food you are being served.
Fantastic food and excellent service. Tomasita had the perfect balance of attentiveness and patience. Great experience for our anniversary. Thank you!
Food was sub-par for what we paid. Service was ok could have been better. Did not like that I ordered a NY Strip and she made a face and tried to upsell me to an even more expensive cut. If the NY isn't good why have it on your menu for $65. Corn was salty, Brussels Sprouts were delicious and mash potatoes were the best I've ever had! Over all a good but not great experience.
Can't remember his name but our waiter was exceptional and prudent. The food was very good esp our filets!
Was a lovely atmosphere and brunch was delicious. Nadia was fantastic, so pleasant and attentive. Can't wait to come back!
Food was good, some aspects were overpriced such as the fries. $17 for a side of fries .... Our waiter was very slow, rarely checked on us. It was also my daughter's birthday which I put on the reservation and it wasn't acknowledged.
Restaurantji Recommends
Octopus appetizer was forgotten about. Arrived very late after reminder. Not sure if it was supposed to be served hot or cold. Lukewarm it was, drenched in an half-coagulated oily mix. The Halibut was not any better, driest on record. It must have spent som serious time on the griddle, possibly overnight. I've been a dining st Parc about a half a dozen times and this was definitely a low point.
Parc restaurant location is prime! Food portions are on the small side, reminds me of European portions and prices are on par and expected at a fine restaurant. Server was excellent! We went on a Saturday for dinner and the energy and vibe at the restaurant and around Campus Martius cannot be beat. Lots of people watching and right at Campus Martius. Reservation is suggested and I recommend prepaying for a parking spot using ParkWhiz to avoid the stress.
Eating at Parc is always an outstanding experience! The food is excellent, the location and view are amazing, and the service is impeccable. On top of the great dining experience, our favorite server, Salah, enhances the overall outing. He always goes above and beyond and makes us feel like family.
Excellent service. Great location. Fantastic people watching. Food was... good. We expected a bit more for the price point, but still had a great evening overall
The experience was great! Food was flavorful and fresh! The service was excellent! Jazmen was the best and most attentive waitress. Will be back yet again!
