The food was terrible. We were downtown and thought we would eat at a big name and we're completely disappointed. We would have done better at Coney. Vegetable options were peas or green beans and clearly came out of a can. I'm so upset that I wasted time and money here

There’s literally no where else in the Detroit area with such authentic Greek food. No where. They’re a big place but get full fast. That tells you everything you need to know. A staple of Detroit.

I went here for lunch with a friend while attending a band event at Ford Field and we split the combination plate. The service was extremely quick and the food was fantastic. I would highly recommend Pegasus.

Came for dinner recommended by a friend as a must.. sat at the bar and Brian was very nice and helpful in suggesting food and things to do. Very knowledgeable about the history of Pegasus, the building and the area. Went back the next day to try more food on the menu! Can't wait to come back to town! Brian provided great service and was very attentive to the patrons! Friendly environment easy to talk to people sitting next to you and start conversations. It was a great experience all around!

We dined at Pegasus Taverna on Saturday October 25, 2025. The food was either soggy or overdone. When we were asked if everything was ok, we let the waiter know it was not. The manager came over and we repeated our dissatisfaction. We got the bill and it was over $165 with no consideration for our complaints. When we requested some consideration for our dissatisfaction, the manager comped us one dinner.
I would not recommend this restaurant.

The Greek atmosphere was top notch. The gyro I had was good but only barely warm (that being said, I ate it all). They have 1 Greek beer and a lot of Greek wines. There are a lot of Greek restaurants to choose from in Greektown but this is one to try.

Restaurantji Recommends
Our Greek family of 10 had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The service was fabulous and the food was delicious. Great wine selection too. We mostly had lamb dishes (lamb shank, lamb chops etc.), flaming cheese, skordalia etc.). This has a retro greek dining experience which are few and far these days. Highly recommend for groups.

The restaurant was extremely busy because the Detroit Lions were playing that night but the wait staff and the kitchen did a phenomenal job getting everyone fed and off to the game on time.

IT'S not what it used to be. I had chicken kabobs. They were so small, not seasoned. Not worth the money at all.
