I ordered a fish taco meal and they sent two smallll ass pieces of nasty ass tilapia with a bunch of onions that didn’t even fill the whole tortilla!!! I can’t believe they would send this out of their kitchen. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!

The server was not as pleasant to us as she was to others I asked for a specific thing not to be put in my food and it came with it anyways she hurried and gave us our tabs right in the middle of eating didn't bother to check if we need anything else or drink refills the rice was hard the portions of sides was way to small for three dollars a piece

Beautiful interior and exterior. The patio out front allows for outside drinks. The interior is clean! The staff was amazing during my first visit. Fun and welcoming to conversation. I got the maple wings and street corn (elote). I could eat that corn all day. So good!! Decent selection of mexican beers and some American alternatives. My second drink was a cocktail. It tasted as good as I expected :)
I accidentally double tipped. They add 20% gratuity to your bill. THEY HIGHLIGHT IT ON THE RECEIPT. I DID NOT SEE IT. I wasn't looking. I just looked at the total and made a second 20% tip. I AM NOT UPSET. I just feel stupid lol.
Parking: The parking lot across the side street is for the grocery store only but I'm not sure how strict it is. I went on a Saturday around 4-5. Livernois was packed for parking. I found a spot of the side street a few businesses away.

Service was excellent and quick, but gratuity is automatically added at 20% for a 2 person party- then they have suggested tips. Pricing for their menu items is entirely crazy for Mexican food, given that any non-veggie option is a significant upcharge. Lastly, it was generally just quite bland. I would not recommend going here.

For a long time, this was my favorite restaurant, but my recent experience on Election Day was incredibly disappointing. I came with a party of five, and we seated ourselves at a table that hadn’t been cleaned. We waited around 10 minutes before the bartender came to clean it off and someone else (not our server) came to wipe it down. After ordering, we never received our drinks, even after I reminded our server, Diamond, when the food arrived. She assured me she’d bring them right away, but we ended up finishing our entire meal without ever getting our drinks. Diamond paced past our table several times and entered a room that was behind a curtain. What was behind the magic curtain is still unclear.
To make matters worse, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill, despite the poor service. When I brought this up Diamond and explained that I didn’t feel it was appropriate to add this charge for such a disappointing experience, she told me I had no choice. When I asked to speak with a manager, she informed me that she was the manager. She also added that someone else dropped the ball, so she wasn’t responsible. Knowing the owner from previous visits, I asked if I could speak with him. She told me he wasn’t available, and I’d have to deal with her.
This experience left me truly disappointed, and I’m hopeful that the owner will address these issues to restore the level of service that once made this place a favorite. Stay away!!! I know I will!

The atmosphere and service is wonderful. The food and the drinks are ok. The fajita had more veggies than meat. The enchilada was only one and was smothered in cheese and sauce like I’m use to.

I had more onions than anything else. 6 shrimp, 1 slice of red pepper. $20 for shrimp fajita meal. The waitress was awful. She took 20 minutes to bring us chip and dips. We never got our drinks ordered from the bar, but she continued to pace the floor as if she was busy. The place looks nice, the food was not a hype, the service was awful.

By far the best Mexican I've had. Their tacos are amazing During happy hour, they're only $2 which is a total steal, but they're worth paying full price for anytime. And don't skip their elote! Had the enchiladas today and they were great and will be my new regular order.

We LOVE having this amazing restaurant right in our backyard & it's quickly becoming a frequent stop. Absolutely delicious food & very good drinks - you really can't go wrong with anything off the menu. 10/10 recommend, but be patient because while the staff is soooooo friendly, they seem a little understaffed at the moment.
