I do not recommend coming here (Gate A-50ish). Came in around 5PM and stayed for bit over an hour. One guy sat near me at the bar and waited at least 5 minutes, but was never acknowledged. He understandably got up and left. The food came out quick, but was overpriced and barely warm when I got it (Chicken club with fries, $24 dollars before tax). The chicken was overcooked; the baguette it came on, stale. The fries looked like they would have been pretty good, but they had cooled down significantly (like they had been taken out of the fryer 20 minutes ago). I worked in quick-service/fast-food for almost 6 years. I know it blows sometimes, but that's just lazy. A chicken breast only takes minutes to cook in a charbroiler (would have been better than what I got); fries can be cooked to order. Not sure who would give this place a good rating if their experience was anything like mine. Even by airport standards, it was pretty terrible. On a positive note, the draft beers were cold, fresh, and reasonably priced (for an airport) unlike the food, but that's really about the only good thing I can say. I've edited some things from my review earlier because I don't want to be mean, but the manager (i'm assuming) was quite unpleasant to another patron at the bar that asked to change the channel. Sorry for the bad review.

Would have spent more. Wasnt acknowledged for 20 minutes (while pizza was available) then a staff member came out screaming pizzas done no pizza after 8. Problem was it was 740. Bad service poor attitude of one of the staff members ruined whole experience. Never been treated so poorly with poor service in what is generally a great experience at DTW. Argued with me the whole time...

It was lovely!
I took orzo salad and ordered some hummus and pita from the list of sides.
Perfect food.
I should've asked a little vinaigrette on the side just because I like extra saucy food. Next time.

Terribly cooked food. Everything was microwaved and poorly seasoned. The dishes looked absolutely nothing like what were being advertised.

It took a bit to get seated, and then even longer to take an order, which I get. So I went to go and ordered the Chicken Shawarma Meal. It's not amazing and didn't really feel worth the airport price.

Excellent lamb burger: it actually tasted like lamb!, with tasty feta and authentic tzatziki sauce. Was recommended by friendly and helpful bartender.
Minus one star for having all 10 TVs tuned to the Lions game. Couldn't the Bills game be on one TV? Especially since our boarding gate is next to the restaurant. So many disappointed Bills fans.

The restaurant has been renamed to Piata. This restaurant used to be my “go to” place at DTW. I couldn’t wait to try it again. I always loved the Chicken Schwarma Pita or kabob with lots of the homemade garlic sauce. The menu has changed. They no longer have the kabob, so I ordered the pita sandwich. It came with fries, but I also used to LOVE their rice. I think it was Lebanese recipe. The pita was very good, but they no longer have the garlic sauce which was disappointing. It is served with Taziki sauce. It was good, but not as good as the garlic. Also, the rice was awful. It is called an almond rice, but it tasted all sticky and pasty. I couldn’t eat it. The waitress said the recipe had changed. The service was terrific, and my friend loved her big salad.

Not only is the food great I had great customer service from Anthony known as A.D. Thank you for being so happy and helpful to start my journey today on a long flight. I hope your owners recognize what a great worker they have running their business. I will definitely be back!

The only thing they had to order was pizza, salad, and soup. I got the Fattoush salad. It was a plain salad, I mean PLAIN, lettuce, cukes, radish, cherry tomatoes, and dressing. No pita chips. At the airport it was 17.00! The woman who waited on me was probably frustrated but shouldn't have affected service, which was sub optimal. What a waste of money and I'll be hungry in an hour.

The pizza man puts out a simple but delicious pizza. He’s engaging and loves his job. We had the Greek pizza which was a nice light dinner before our last leg.

If you are stuck in an airport, this is your spot. Friendly service. I had the tabouleh, falafel, and hummus plate with pita and it was delicious. Honestly want a bad place to hang. They have music and booze and aren't rushing you out the door.

The food was good, the servers were very good. It is pricey. Two eggs, meat, 1 piece of toast and potatoes was $19.95. After walking around after breakfast we found other restaurants that offered the same meal for $15.00. I would suggest if you have the time, look around before you stop.

Food was decent but service was horrendous. Floor doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in quite some time. Unprofessional staff. Took a long time to ever get acknowledged after seating ourselves. Do not recommend.
