The food was good but i didn't really enjoy getting springlocked and getting all my bones and organs crushed.

They're closing in a few days and I heard great things about the pies. If you go they may be short-staffed so be patient. The reason my review is low is food and service. I gave them a nice tip on my credit card but somehow they entered a larger tip amount. I'll be calling them. Next, the pies were undercooked. I checked the underside and it looked OK but I should have asked or sent them back. They have a limited menu so make you know what you're ordering. I think one of the pies went to another table and I got theirs by mistake. I heard that for a time it was great but I'm not concerned about going back. They had a good idea but it didn't last.

The pizza was good. The wine was great. The special was sold out. I didn't know it was karaoke night though. Music from karaoke was playing as well as like a spotify playlist so the noise was a bit distracting. Otherwise I had no problem getting seated. The food came really quickly. The servers were generally helpful. I would come here again.

Great spot for karaoke, it's very low-key so if you're shy when doing karaoke this is the best place to go! The pizza was good! The drinks were good. The only thing is I wish they had more appetizers and or bar food. But the choices that they had available were nice to pick from.

I was really disappointed in how much of a letdown this was given the multitude of prior good reviews and official accreditation from Italy. Comparing our pizzas to images of those from a few years ago and on their official Square site menu, nothing looks the same. For one, I ordered a white pizza (Funghi) - in every other pizza place I've been to this means the pizza would come with a white sauce base rather than red. However mine came with a tomato sauce. When I asked staff about this, they said that "white" meant that the pizza comes with mozzarella. Doesn't by default all pizza have mozzarella? Seemed like a cop out answer. Moving on to the pizza itself: menu description said this would come with two types of mushrooms (porcini and cremini) and fresh basil. There were very few toppings to begin with (maybe 2-3 tiny mushrooms per slice) and they were both the same type of mushroom. Mushrooms didn't taste fresh at all and more like something out of a can. And they didn't put any basil on the pizza at all. I regrettably added prosciutto as a $4 add on and there were only a few tiny slivers of that as well. Texturally, the crust was fine but the rest of the pizza was a soggy mess. The moisture from the mozzarella and sauces turned the pizza base into a somewhat cheesy wet newspaper, which was really unpleasant to eat. There was a lack of seasoning in the sauce and lack of salt in the dough as well, so it was also a bland somewhat cheesy wet newspaper.... Really wished I had a better experience. Staff were nice. Some cleanliness issues with clearly dirty plates being replaced with equally dirty plates, and the same staff waiting tables also handling food and bringing an open bag of lettuce into the cashier area out of the kitchen. Guess I'll just have to stick to making my usual Detroit style pizza at home. Honestly I've been more impressed by a DiGiornio's vs. the pizza here. Sorry for lack of photos - neither my fiancé nor I were impressed and just ate enough to not be hungry and wanted to get out of there asap to find more food elsewhere.

Bit of a let down since I read so many great reviews. We decided to try authentic Neapolitan pizza after watching "The Pizza Show" series on TV and seeing what is required to be certified. Our 2 pizzas unfortunately didn't look as good as the others I've seen in reviews or Google images for Pizzaplex. Burnt crust beyond normal Neapolitan stole some enjoyment. Pizza flavor was good, the crust that wasn't over cooked was tasty. Cheese wasn't melted very well making it difficult to get the full experience. The tiramisu, although flavorful, was not as pictured either. Unfortunately it was eaten by the person that ordered it before I could get a picture.Friendly staff, nice interior, fair pricing. Glad we tried it, likely won't make the 20 minute drive for another. My review is overall based on 3 people's opinion and 2 pizzas and a dessert. In all fairness, every place should get 2 tries to determine overall quality. I would NOT tell anyone else not to give it a try first. They get an extra star for being good stewards in the neighborhood. It's nice to see the area making a rebound.

Excellent pizza, crust is chewy with a slight crisp, sauce is delicious made with San Marzano tomatoes, and toppings were high quality. Fun atmosphere, there was karaoke going on when I was there. This is one of the best pizzas I've had in the area!

Best pizza in the h00d. Been grabbing pizza from here since they opened. I've been tearing the diavola up while my wife has been going through the one covered in porcini mushrooms. Seems like they cycle through employees rather often so don't let one lackluster food experience turn you against the place , once they hit a stride, they absolutely kill it.

New favorite pizza!! Amazing neapolitan style pizza. True italian experience. If I would have to choose to eat one pizza for a year that would be the pick! Delicious, authentic and well priced. Will be returning as often as I can :)

I came here and immediately felt my body feel with fear, my body was changing. The advertising for this place never shows you the animatronics they offer here. One of the most rememberable one was Montgomery Gator. He has a killer jump and the most scary roar you will ever hear. Entering the bathroom at this establishment will send you to a completely different universe that you would never expect to be true. It is a place you will see in your nightmares for the rest of your life. Never ever go here if you ever want to sleep well again... Montgomery golfing was the scariest part. Now you must be wondering how i survived to be able to write this review for you... well my names Gregory. I cannot die in there... I had to get out to ensure this doesn't happen ever again. Now you may be wondering why I'm giving this place two stars... well I can ensure you it gave me something to do until 6 am so I guess it deserves points for the entertainment aspect. All in all... mid experience.

Love this place. Participated in the pizza making class on Tuesday a couple years back. Loved hanging out with Nate (pizza creator/chef). Have been back on several occasions for great pizza and unique atmosphere. Wish I lived closer

We ordered two pizzas. The dough was fabulous. The pizzas themselves were runny and the toppings were barely warm. We were dissatisfied. We also ordered side salad and whit beans. They were both good!
