I was excited to go....toy surprise...not many arcade games...no old school or new school....very disappointed

Just called to ask if they had opened yet because on Google it says they don't open until 4p. When I called the person answered and when I asked if they were open yet (as it was only 3p) the response was "I just answered the phone didn't I". I have enjoyed coming here several times but with this kind of rude and disrespectful service I don't think this is a place I will be visiting very often.

Checker bar and arcade is one of my personal favorite spots in all of Detroit. With so many different and delicious food options it's a great place to stop for dinner, drinks and fun upstairs in the arcade. The arcade has tons of different options of games. Parking lot was available next to the building. They were 21 and up on Saturday night. But didn't check id's at the door on other days I have been. Great spot to stop!!

While there isn't a great variety of games, there are plenty to play with your friends. I love visiting when I come downtown.
