The staff had horrible customer service! The person working the counter got mad at me because I ordered wrong from the kiosk. That I was Wrong about, but to keep talking mess about me and I am Still standing there and then check me in front of everybody was just out cold and ghetto. I apologized And asked her to help me and she did but with a lot of mouth and attitude. I wanted to go hood on her but it is obvious that she likes to fight and mad as hell at her big age that she still working at a fast food place watching women that look like her doing better than her… she was angry for no reason.

Popeyes is located in Terminal A, Concourse A at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). It was near my gate during a layover, so I was able to grab some food quick before my flight. There are a few tables and countertop seating too. I got the 2Pc Chicken Meal that came with cornbread and a side order of Mashed Potatoes with Cajun Gravy. The food was hot when I received it and it tasted good. It filled me up. Service was fine. After I ordered, there was a long line. It didn't take too long for my order to be ready.

Food was what I expected. Strips are your best bet. The workers act like they're paid minimum wage. I think that's not the real issue though. It seems like that part of the building has no ventilation. It was 10 degrees warmer in that part of the airport. If I was working there, I'd be tired from not being able to breathe all day.

Ordered a mac and cheese. Was half a order. Asked for bbq sauce didnt get none. Staff is rude and very unhelpful. For all the money you pay to eat there. The food is terrible and employees play to much.
Went here to get some fried chicken in the afternoon. Found plastic in the fried chicken and after asking the manager about it she was completely ignorant about it as if it was nothing and rather said it was a fault of chicken provider. Just need to understand is it the Popeyes selling this fried chicken or the chicken provider and if there is a problem why not just accept it? Food department should definitely inspect this place. #foodsafety
